Bad enough we have to get our info from data miners because illfonic can’t be bothered. Introducing all this gear, then pricing it out of one of your classes reach is just fucking stupid. What’s the point of having a class that can’t use anything?
Hire someone who actually knows how to balance a game and doesn’t literally ignore 1/5 of the FT. I like a challenge and that’s one reason I play Scout but you are literally making that class a liability to the other 3 FT players.

It’s fair, otherwise is gonna be broken. Specially if you could have resumed the syringe with the ammo crate.
worthless unless it can prevent a pred from quick claiming you and revives you with full health and invincibility until you are fully healed.
atm syringes are becoming unuseful too with premades because the pred can still down you while you are using it. and if you have your buddies around to scare him off is better to just go for a medkit which a lot of main preds (since they don’t play FT) don’t seem to find.
far too many times I am finishing matches without using a single syringe.
@RubyGem_1 I said from the start its not going to be that useful considering you need to trade other gear for it.
@Arrow_calis It should cost very little gear, like very, very little but not be able to resupply it. So classes with low gear points could mix it in instead of smoke. Finally getting that cancer out of the game and actually giving something useful. The HP you get after revive should be low as well (with it costing 1 point).
Except for sound maker (of ft) all the gears were and are usefull now. It’s just poeple don’t know how them properly. Smoke for example is not usless, it’s just situational. If you destroy the mask of the predator, smoke can be usefull in the exfil point because he will no longer be able to see you. Flash bang are usefull if a pred is camping behind a tree close to you, and you can throw one of them before pushing him, there are even more scenarios in which you can use flashbangs properly. Frag granade are SUPER strong if you are good to calculate the perfect hold time before throwing them.

they are single use. You won’t get them in ammo crates and will not equip 2 using gearhead. they already stated this
sound maker is useful for newbie preds. I use to throw them along with a thermal and man… had so many preds fall for it and went right in.

Let’s use the smoke example. You also need to put the smoke in front of you, if you’re inside with the predator you’re going to get melee and your’re ranged is effected. Considering how easy is to fuck up with smoke I just hate it. It takes quite some skill to use and only if the mask is down. The NPC don’t seem affected by smoke.
Revives :) Resupplies everything.
Ai are broken , infact they need a rework. Usually you dont use smoke for killing pred but to be sure one guy can escape, that is a WIN for fireteam according to the role of the game.
is not a reinforcement, is a self revive while you are DOWNED not KILLED. I highly doubt it will re-supply everything
No, no. I mean that you can get another one if you reinforce. When you reinforce you get everything back.
I still consider it useless in most situations. Usually when you are downed you have team mates to pick you up. If you are alone you will be claimed.
Only real scenario where I could consider it useful is against bow abusers that shoot you in the ground and your team mates cannot pick you up.
I’ll have to make a loadout to face those preds alone… you got that @Arrow_calis ? :D
