It must be because of the war between the USA and China, almost everything is provided by the Chinese on US platforms.
Look for the hidden gong in Backwater, in one of the buildings in the village. Hit it with wristblades or your knife, you’ll hear the famous Chinese chopsticks sound effect and you’ll unlock the Chinese interface.
I was referring to the fact that many Chinese products are being taken out of the USA. For that reason, I mean, declare war, not as such, but at a macroeconomic level. I wonder why it’s happened with other games of this nature but it could also be a simple error on the part of the developers who sometimes make things simple.
