The story of a Sad Ken!

Ohhh @Weevo540

Breaking News a Ken locks rental keys in a car

Ken Renter of cars, locker of keys inside a vehicle!!

Said Ken has locked the rental keys in a car that he was returning!! So now I have to deal with this!!

Lol!! Not really it’s not my issue!! It’s his lol!! Hahahaha!!

Anyway Ken has managed to lock keys in the car! He scream and hollers like it’s my fault that the car locked itself! Do you have another Key he asks!
No Why would a national car rental agency have multiple keys to every car that we own like what? Lol!!

Now he is mad I don’t have an extra key! At least he is not breaking things thank god!

He is like what do I do!! I’m like well there options call a locksmith, call AAA, or break the window and we will have to charge you for the window!!

He didn’t like those options!! Lol!!
It’s my fault the car locked itself according to him! It’s my fault he left the keys inside the vehicle!! But he is a Ken and does not grasp that this is his fault!!

He is currently in my parking lot throwing a fit on the phone with customer service!!!

I’ll keep this post updated as this drama continues!!

Making a key for safety isn’t a thing? I’m kind of puzzled about that. Maybe a service like that should be included in the insurance policy. I mean they do pay that dont they?

I’m a little confused!! So for each vehicle that the company owns there are two keys but the spar keys are kept at each districts main car lot. So for me in NY the main car lot is In New Jersey!!

They would have to mail the key to me!

Ken had also locked all his belongings in the car so if he didn’t do that he could have just left the car and I would have gotten the key eventually!!

But at the local level I’m not going to hve spare keys for anything!!

So for extra insurance they hve to pay for! The only type of insurance you get when renting the car is if you get into an accident that’s not your fault you will not be charged for the car! So like if they get T-boned by someone running a red light or some other type of accident that is out of there control!

Thats also a no fault of their own scenerio unless they ran the red light.

The company has what they accept as not their fault. Getting T-Boner by another driver running a red light, another is something that happened during the pandemic! I person was driving on the highway passing a tractor trailer in the left lane when the trucks tired shredded off and destroyed the side of the car!

Another is if a bird flys through the windscreen the company says that’s a act of nature and is covered by the companies insurance! But hitting a deer is not cause you have time to react I guess!

Avis/Budget Group is weird

But damn, how do you avoid a deer jump in front of the car? I mean if the damage is like a small dent on the bumper get it, you probably did have time to avoid it, but if it made venison sauce and came through the windshield then its obvious that the situation couldnt be avoided.

Update!!! Lol

Locksmith was able to unlock the door obviously! Lock smith charged 150 dollars for the emergency call!

Ken did not try to get me to deduct off his bill! But still insists that it was my fault and will be writing to corporate about it lol

It probably was your fault , it was the first conclusion I came to before I even read the initial post fully
