The Thomas Brothers

Brothers probably heard that in the next movie a 15 year old Comanche chick, using just rocks and sticks, takse on a Yautja and wins…
They have not yet fully recovered after 2018 and now this shit is being thrown in their faces… can’t blame them, I hope they will succed👍🏽
Also them hearing about Samurai/Viking cossplay preds and Clash might had something to do with this

What the fuck did you say about sensei seagals best movie!? 🤨

And as for marvel? They took a long route and got people invested in their stories , to then bait and switch, they waited and then tried to jump their wokeness on people . They played it smart to secure a landfill of $$$$$$.

Black panther and captain marvel? They were in-between infinity war and endgame were they not? Two woke movies and they knew that was the time they would make cash , in-between their two finales

See thats what I dont like , I was under the impression I made a purchase to enjoy, not a long term investment, thats the problem with gaming . Its investing instead of purchasing . Thats fucked up .

If I wanted to invest? I would actively pay for early access , not be baited and tricked into paying for early access

Very much why I’m no longer getting online only games. Most of them suck ass anyway. And the ones that are good took years to get there.

Yeah , I’m the same .I would say I’ve learned a lesson? But I literally bought hunt showdown lastnight 😁 but I know the history of it and knew it was early access for a time before being on consoles . So I was aware it had been tested and worked on . Hunting grounds? Its been beta tested for the last 12 months at a high price

I think Hunting Grounds was the last one I bought. The rest that came after were free or bundled with another game. I learnt my lesson the hard way on that one. Been burnt too many times by them.

What i know of the early access formula , is you pay a lower price and you know its not going to run like a polished product , to play it and when its released you get a free upgrade to the full version ? I might be wrong?

With this? We paid an inflated price for the beta , we have been testing it for them and instead of the upgrade at the end? What did we get , “here are so skins you can pay for”, this should be against a terms of service somewhere to protect players . Its deception in my eyes and if they are willing to do that and make false claims to get more sales ? It shows their business model and its not for our interests.

Its a red flag and illfonic won’t have another cent from me , ever .

If you’re playing Hunt Showdown, it is best enjoyed with a friend. Otherwise it’s either very slow or you’re too loud and the competent teams will hunt you like you’re a bonus prize.

Yeah that is the early access model. I remember buying Battle for Neighbourville and that had a similar model. Cheaper than the full game too and you didn’t have to pay a dime extra for the full game. At least with a model like that you know what you’re getting into. But sadly most online only games don’t bother with that and try to market their game as full and complete like they did with P:HG. 3 similar maps, one mode, tons of bugs and awful balance. Full game my ass. That’s why I’m not buying an online only game ever again.

I haven’t played it yet , but I have a couple of guys I can play it with. I wanted it at release but I just never got around to buying it

I bought ark on early access a couple of years before it was on console . This model is just deceptive, I dont like it and people can’t say we knew what we were buying because I’m more than certain they flat out said it would have more in the full version . what we bought was identical to the beta except they moved the weapon unlock levels around, thunder-cats confirmed what I thought aswell and even said there was a now deleted video of the devs talking about what would be in the released version? Mostly things that never came to be @Thunder-Cats

I wouldn’t call Black Panther woke. More of a Lion King remake with some twists. Captain Marvel…eh…okay yeah that’s was a but woke but quite frankly, I’ve only seen it once and completely forgot it. It wasn’t horrible though, the feminist messaging, it was somewhere between subtle and hamfisted.

I said nothing about Hard to Kill

First I’ve heard of it tbh but I can’t say I’m surprised. I didn’t know because I’ve only ever paid for 2 early access games in my life. Lego Worlds and Plants Vs Zombies Battle For Neighbourville so as you can imagine that’s quite a different situation from the scummy crap they did with ARK lol. Guess it’s wise to avoid early access titles to then. Though I don’t see them around as much as full games.

Ah I remember an early access title that’s a scam now. Star Citizen. That’s like the biggest fucking one don’t know how I could forget about that one lol.

You dodged a bullet there , my friend 👉🏻 . Personally its a top tie with hard to kill , out for justice , above the law and nico . The one thing I cant forgive executive decision for? Was when I bought the seagal boxset and it was in it instead of something else , he dies twenty fucking minutes in 😁 its a kurt Russell movie

Black panther wasnt woke? 😁🙄

I remember something vaguely about star citizen . Alot end up not released which is a risk in any investment? Thats why if hunting ground fails? We weren’t privvy to that aspect . In my opinion

Don’t forget Under Seige.
Hey now…I’ll take Kurt Russell over Segal any day. So will most studios, directors, casting agencies…honestly if you watch any Carpeter/Russell team up and not love the man there’s something wrong with you.

No I don’t consider Panther woke and here’s why…if you change the racial identity of the characters, the story still works. Make Wakanda an alien planet and the plot fits the same. A member of the society is abandoned after his father betrayed the leadership. Grows up in a foreign land, sympathizes and is adopted by the culture and is bitterly resentful of his home culture that could help the one he was adopted into.

The thing and big trouble 🤤

Yeah my head hurts just at the thought of anything in depth with that movie
