Anyone noticed if it tags the predator? For how much it costs, if it just marks everything else its garbage considering what its competing with (like ammo bags, med kits and so on).
I’ve been using smoke and thermal as a combo and it’s done great especially at extraction.
They can work when combo’d but I can’t take both and would rather push off the Pred than sacrifice a teammate.
Thing is the tag above your head the predator has does not go away if you’re in thermal+smoke. So he can see you, you can’t see him.
Right. I did one time because I was near a big enough rock threw 2 smoke grenades quick mud and kept juking him around a rock. And shot him lol
We tested it and I couldn’t see anything or marking. Only if used motion tracker and I think if you scan them long enough with the mask? but once its destroyed it’s gone tho.
Whats the point of this …? Fireteams can already spot spam the predator to death revealing his position continually so whats the fucking need of this??
Illfonic just needs to make a game where a single fireteam member gets sent to the predator home planet , and all us predator players can get buffs out the ass while the fireteam guy gets nerfed to death and call it fireteam hunting grounds. thats sarcasm

this does in fact mark the predator so it’s pretty good every scout FT should run this so they can run predators off the map
this also means whoever takes this in a squad it is actually there duty to make sure predators aren’t healing or eating boars

If it was cheaper, sure it would make sense but it costs 5 points.

Yes, the scan you do with the mask, the symbol above your head can be seen trough both smoke and thermal. I don’t play predator, somebody posted a video showing this some time back. The guy was marked, he run inside smoke+thermal and the symbol was still there.
