Wolf’s Lore:
Wolf was a veteran Yautja and and a skilled along with crafty warrior who used anything and everything to his advantage, even Tyrian that wasn’t his own. He would arrive on Earth in the year 2004 during a outbreak caused by a Predalien/Abomination that impregnated a blooded Yautja named Scar. Wolf was killed when a tactical nuclear bomb was dropped on Gunnison by Colonel Stevens, along with the Predalien he was battling and any surviving Xenomorphs and people in the town.
Wolf was an accomplished Xenomorph hunter and elite-ranked Yautja. At some point, he was scarred by a Xenomorph’s acidic blood, burning the left side of his face and losing him his upper left mandible. He is shown to have been in many battles and being a participant in many Hunts. This is evident by the many signs, or rune type markings upon his chosen helmet, and also by the damaged mandible tusk/tooth of his upper-left jaw. Wolf has also been equipped with weapons not seen in other Predator theatrical releases, such as the Whip he used in his final battle where he fought the Predalien. These, and many other aspects, show that he was a formidable warrior and fearsome hunter. Moreover, Wolf was firm enough to overpower two Xenomorph Drones at once and to hold his ground against a far more powerful adversary such as the Predalien.
Fun Facts:
•The name “Wolf” is a reference to the character Winston Wolfe from the film Pulp Fiction; both characters are described as “cleaners” who cover up murders and/or other messy situations to protect those responsible.
•Another Predator that shares its name and appearance with Wolf appears in the 2010 video game (which I’m currently playing now, sad to see the fan base basically being held on life support but it’s still crazy fun)
•Aliens vs. Predator. It is also a multiplayer skin in the game, unlocked when players reach Rank 25. (Trying so hard to get)
•Wolf is the first on-screen Predator to battle a Predalien. Many of Wolf’s weapons also made their debut with him, and he is the first Predator to wield dual Plasmacasters.
•Accorind to Inside The Monster Shop, Wolf was supposed to be the Yautja equivalent of a 40-year-old human. Unlike other predators, who were comparatively younger, Wolf was “not in the flower of his youth” and relied more on brains than brawn when hunting.
