Seems better for now. They put her on some medicine to try and control it, but the stress of the animals dying hasn’t done her any good. She’s gonna have to see a cardiologist soon to really dig in and see what the problem could be.

Shit man. A close family friend lost their son last year to a congenital heart condition. He was 14 and I’ve known him since he was 3. It was fucking awful. They found him in bed on a Sunday morning, passed in his sleep. I can’t even imagine finding your child like that. The most gut wrenching funeral I’ve ever been to. Get her checked out, that shit is no joke. Hope everything goes ok.

She has a family history of issues. Her brother had 2 open heart surgeries in his 20s to correct his issue. His didn’t even have a name yet! Now we’re middle-aged, so we have to keep tabs on this shit, for sure.

The bad part is, I’m aware I’m being a semi-bitch about it. There’s SOOOOOOooooo many people in the world who have it worse, I’m very very blessed in comparison but it doesn’t make it easier.
Don’t ignore your own problems just because others have it worse. We all deserve some sympathy and compassion regardless of how bad or good others have it.
For example, I have a kidney stone atm and feel like I have to pee 24/7. I’m going to piss out a rock, shit ain’t fun.
