Theft game mode

i got an idea for a new map and mode

Mode:theft

the story around around theft is that the fire team got hot intel from an informant in the are that they’ve spotted a predator ship


and there’s no sign of its owner so this is a prime opportunity to go in a steal a valuable piece of pred tech and and high tail it to the extraction location.On the pred side you return to your ship just shortly after the FT left with their loot discover it missing and go after them to return what they stole.

Lost comes with a variant of the elder sword that he holds forwards with a new set of animations.He also has a shuriken in his kit that acts as a faster, non controllable smart disc that,after a certain distance or isn’t lodged in geometry will return to him.
*he also has a similar situation to the city hunter where certain items would be visible on the model ie: sword/net gun/shuriken and has a passive perk that his armor allows his energy to comeback at a faster rate and can stack with other perks

this is just a rough representation of the map but this is supposed to a long single lane map kinda like joust from smite but with a wider middle section where on one end its the pred ship and on the other side is a clearing /cliff where extraction will be.

mode parameters
time limit : 12-15 minutes
the object that the fire team would be stealing would be large and heavy and one person has to carry,slowing them down it at a time.effectively a payload mode.Once the payload is secured by the player, ai will spawn heavier with more pmc will occur because stargazer had actually intercepted your transmission and are looking for an easy reward.

Rework FT objectives in general to actually affect the predator. Stealing weapons/gear for recovery and becoming a target rather than collecting water samples from a damn river

I think from the predators side he would get an alert on his gauntlet that something is wrong checks his ship realizes something is stolen and walks down its ramp and the game starts

I came up with a similar idea called Tech Hunt

Only difference is it’s a crashed predator ship

Ft has to try to collect as much tech as possible before exfil (two opposing FT would also be fun)

The predator must stop them

This mode could be played on all existing maps

The devs would simply need to modify them to add in the crashed ship (spawns in a few different spots) and the pieces of tech/dead Predator

perhaps there could be scout from neca even though he has the same getup as the city hunter except for his face and skin color and sniper

Perhaps but that would seem like a wast of money

Throw the silver elder mask on the city hunter and change the skin/armor color for the next best thing

That scout rifle he comes with needs to be in the game

All the new weapons from that wave of toys need to be in the game tbh

It might be interesting if AI could also carry the stolen goods. The AI that picks it up gets and HP and damage reduction boost. If AI succeeds, both sides loose 😂

The have camps on either side of the mid section of the map where they return to and hold the artifact and you have to go take it back

Yup. I see it playing a major role in the scrimishes where FT would be fighting pred and AI at the same time and perhaps would concentrate on the pred more. That’s when AI would pounce. Once in possession of the item, AI would protect the carrier and retreat to the base. Probably too compicated, but could be interesting

a whole lot of memebrs of the lost tribe have too similar if not the same armor we already have in game
