Their cloak isn’t perfect- Dutch

I’m a main Predator player so I wanna know if they buffed it because as I was playing as Fireteam, I couldn’t see him/her

They buffed the cloak a few patches back. Now its harder to see but if you train your eye you can still find it if close enough. If the distance is significant, its almost impossible (for me) unless you only figure out the general area by moving branches and the likes.

We were playing in the temple map and he was on top of the building in front of it and we couldn’t see him and he just kept spawning his plasma caster, if I didn’t lay covering fire and threw smokes, we would have been wiped out since the A.I were behind us to

First remove smoke from your gear list and stay away from it like its Satan himself. That things blinds only YOU and your team, the predator can see perfectly trough it, AI ignore it just as well.
Now if he spamming the PC you should be able to pinpoint him easy since you should see where it originates from. Just shoot the general area (if you really can’t find him) and spam SPOT. If you’re on PS its probably harder from what I understand, on PC is really easy to spam spot.
Finally, if you really need it, use EMP grenades.

I’m playing PS and it’s gear, OWLF training and the vest so bullets of a.I don’t hurt me

More like what class do you play, what weapons you use (first and secondary) as well as gear and perks.
Also what specilization?

Try going something easy, like support with medic (specialization) hammerhead, PDW-Z, medkit, ammo bag and STIMS. Then for perks use Thick Skin and something for 1 perk.

oh and use some good headsets and TURN OFF THE MUSIC, pay attention to movement so you can locate him.

Uh assault, OWLF gun, second shot gun, but I tried that I’m to slow as medic I use faster movement so I can heal support already has a lot of health

Ok, Assault.

First off use SMGs. They are better. PDW-Z has insane burst up close. So use that instead of a shotgun.
Now if you’re good with the aiming use the hammerhead, if not go with the mercenary. The AR-W has insane up close damage but you’re already covered up close with the PDW-Z.
Specialization. Go DEADLY, to select specilization is right next to the button you select the class:

OWLF gun is not that good, its good for taking out objectives and AI but you want to build yourself to deal with the pred, not the AI.
Gear: Field Syrete, AMMO BAG and noise maker.
Perks. I like 2 builds, one goes with Yautja Bane and Weapons training, the other Thick Skin and Gearhead.
Depends if you want more burst or to last more, thick skin = more healt and with gearhead you have more gear, including Field Syrete.

Also don’t use silencers.

I assume you had issues with a melee one charging at you, to those you must have your knife out and do heavy attacks. The best combo is heavy attack, when he is parried you go into a light attack once and then heavy again. Also try to circle around him, get on his back.

Smoke can be useful but only a few times, threw 2 around a big rock and predator cased me around it for a good min. Until he lost me lol

Then I guess that predator has no clue how to turn on heat vision. I would also like to point out that even combined with that grenade that generates heat and its still useless. He can still see you trough both, smoke and heat. The marks above your head don’t go away. So all in all, you’re sabotaging yourself if that predator knows what he is doing.

It was so funny, but point is smoke can be useful combined with thermal also is a decent combo I have heard for awhile. But yes there is better items to use but the Mark’s only show once he has fully scanned you which the smoke can block for bit. So not totally useless but again there are more useful items to use.

By the time you throw the smoke around he should already have those marks. If nothing else throw a motion tracker.

I would also like to point it out that you are blocking the view of yourself and your own team from helping you. The predator can engage you in melee and you’re in deep shit. I am sure predators would love to have smoke so they can isolate people like that. If a predator is going for you, pull out your knife and parry as the rest of the team melts him, its far, far more efficient. If you are the last one alive and if that predator is competent… I wish you all the lucky in the world.

OWLF Operative with sniper spec, thick skin plus OWLF training, super tanky build. Go hammerhead with smg or 1911 pistol. Health syrette, health kit, and grenades.

There you have it, the best build all around.

Looks since you have your “exp” I also have mine. I’ve been agreeing with you while also being fair about the item itself, because i have seen alot of combos and ect. Since launch day but you keep fighting aginst the conversation without truly adding anything to it. But you do you and I’ll do me but we wont do each other…unless? Lol
