There is something wrong with the PC version

Something here stinks. I’ve been playing as predator for 3 weeks now and I’ve noticed something happening with some PC players, but never with PS4 players. Some PC players (especially those in 3 or 4 man groups) have some kind of ability to track a pred from every angle, all the time.

So if you’re playing as pred you’ll notice that hit-and-run tactics often work the best. You’ll shoot with a Caster or Bow then move to another location. It’s fairly effective at creating confusion. However, some PC FT’s will be able to track you even when you’re a very long distance away, and every time you go to aim at the FT they’re already facing you, pre-aimed at your head. I NEVER see this with PS4 players.

What’s going on here? I know it could be the low settings/foliage junk we’ve known about for some time, but I doubt that many players are exploiting the game like that. Plus, even with low foliage I don’t understand how they’re pre-aimed at me when I’m behind a rock/tree. I’ve also noticed these FT’s will spot me from a farther distance when I’m cloaked than when I’m not cloaked.

Any insight? Are some PC FT’s just totally unbeatable right now? Or maybe I’m missing some strategy that I haven’t thought to use yet. Feel free to call me garbage at the game, (that’s a LOT of what this forum is now) but I do win the majority of my pred matches. Thanks

Some of the teams I play with have assigned specalized spotters stationed on high grounds specifically to spot and thats it, so trees, buildings and other areas are easy to see pred.

This is called adaptation and experience. You miss only your skill.

OK, fair enough, but why is it only with PC players? Is it just the culture of PC players trying harder? I’m trying to figure out why I haven’t seen one single PS4 player who can spot the way PC can.

I’ve noticed this too. Spot spam is a PC thing for sure. Doesn’t really effect my playstyle much though. I’ve been wining 90% of the time with the netgun and wristblades anyway.

yah with pc kids im getting headshotted and lit up like seriously, and then ps4 kids are kind of lost

There is something wrong with PC gaming at all, when we’re talking about competitive online games. GTA V, CoD Warzone, CS:GO and so on. PHG is not an exception. PC as a platform allows too much “freedom” in manipulating with game files. So yes, I also met some FT players with “high skill” who were able to see and spot me in great distances, all the time. They are even able to spot me when I stay in stealth mode without thermal vision and don’t move for more than 5 seconds.

Check out my comment on this post. There are macros to make guns empty faster for better damage. And I’ve seen videos of blatant hacks ie. go to 6:00 mark https://youtu.be/poOQilnl6ck
so its completely possible and yeah the hardest ps4 squad always feels fair. Playing against a “really” good pc squad at times literally feels unplayable

Most of the ps4 players are blasting gangsta rap or playing in livingrooms they cant hear anything i could be stomping right next to them an they dont even turn.

Pretty much have to mute all ps4 ft members too with mics because the backround sounds and open mics.

It makes more sense to think of it this way, FPS weren’t made popular on Playstation. New FPS gameplayers might be taking a chance on PS4 and are over whelmed by all the controls available on the PS4 controller and never make use of it.

thats not to say that PC players aren’t just as worse sometimes because its likely they are using a PS4 controller on a PC.

Another reason is that NONE have ADS or movement controls adjusted for sensitivity and are playing with shit settings!
