there is still absolutely no point in arming the self destruct device

No matter how many different patterns you put into this defuse thing someone is always gonna be able to do it. I havent gotten a successful self destruct since day 1. Its way to easy. Ethier make it alot harder or remove it completely because its pretty much pointless

I dont know is this intended, but for me, from last patch, its become harder to defuse bomb, because symbols are changing on the screen and there some effect of lagging

That’s a bug they fixed in an older update, but somehow reintroduced when they added more symbols in one of the latest patches.

My experiences with the self destruct are very different. I managed the explode a lot of times already and when playing the fireteam, i got blown up a couple of times while trying to defuse it, but most of the time the team doesn’t even bother and immediately runs out the explosion radius. So in my games the bomb goes off most of the time.

I’d suggest to run behind a tree or rock or something, so if the FT has to run to you and then start shooting your mask off, kill you and disarm the bomb, they won’t be able to.

u can actually use self destruct but not near them, let s say u are in second wind and have like 4 5 seconds to think of a position that they can reach. jump there…like in a tree or something that is very high reacheble or non at all and then u can use it only if u see u dont have a chance or they are at helli

I think they should count a self destruct kill a fire team kill so we can get more xp

I never defuse it I’ve been trying since the game came out same with so many others

If you run protected it increases the amount of damage your mask can take I’ve noticed a lot more preds running it now the only gun that can get it off quick enough is the 2xl or the 50 cal so not saying it’s going to happen but that perk may get a nerf soon
