Heard Quentin is a good director. Doesn’t shy away from gore too. (Though thats as a director, not a screenwriter)

Tarantino is the most overrated director today. He has had 1 good film. 1. Reservoir dogs. Thats it. Django had a really good chance at being a classic, then he ruined the ending with modern music and blood fountains. Keep him away. Disney should just pay John Mctiernan whatever he wants to make another one.

Are the movies objectivly bad?
Yes. The hateful 8 started so strong, but Tarantino couldn’t get out of his own way and fouled it up royally. Projectile blood-vomit, Channing Tatum and Sam.Jackson mouth-raping a guy innthe snow. Its bad. Kill Bill is just reshooting several bits of Bruce Lee films. Jackie brown was boring as hell, Pulp fiction was ok, so long as only Sam Jackson and Travolta are the only ones on camera and Inglorious basterds is a fools retelling of ww2. If you’re going to beat up movie-nazis, just leave it to Captain America and Indiana Jones.
Objectively? No. Is it for everyone? Of course not.
