These forums need moderation.

I mean, I understand being busy, laying low because of the toxicity, etc. But these forums need some proper moderation. I know things can be flagged enough by the community that they can be hidden and locked. But come on, someone needs to actively be in here curating this garbage. You don’t even need to talk, just help clean it up. Seeing racial slurs, hostile comments towards players and the devs, etc. It’s uncalled for.

There’s a community here that really does enjoy the game, hopes for the best, and is excited about the future. But there’s also a ton of trolls and toxicity that needs to be taken care of for the health of the forum and community.

Agreed. There’s a lot of outrage here obscuring level-headed feedback, and there’s a huge amount of repetition on a small number of topics, both of which mean that any smaller but equally important points are getting lost.

100% agree there needs to be some sort of community mod. This forum is overrun with toxicity but theres a lot of genuine people here too. These forums could become a very good place if there was some sort of moderation or community manager on here.

I agree that some people do go way overboard. I believe we can all have a proper discussion and don’t agree in all points because that’s what makes us individuals. No need to cuss so much.

Right, i was in a topic(that i wont name so as not to welcome that crap here) that stepped over the line from just typical Flaming and being toxic to two members being straight up racist(because skin color somehow effects how smart you are, or how well you play?)…

I’m not going to lie, i’ve said some pretty rude shit on here. We’re all passionate here, we all want this game to be a lot of fun and have a really long run, and we all have our own ideas of what needs to be done/changed to endure that longevity, so people arguing is just expected, but i don’t jell with racism, man… that shit ain’t right and don’t belong here…

All we can really do is flag stuff that’s inappropriate. Eventually with a lot of flags they’ll be hidden or locked. That’s really all we can do until a mod physical does it themselves.
