Make it so if we accidentally engage tree we can cancel action and just drop having to climb up then try is dumb the glitchyness of the trees is dumb like horrible.
They need to fix trees
are you on PC? on pc you can rebind the jump and mount tree button to be different so its possible to jump near trees without climbing them. essential feature because ascending trees is a stealth killer.

Im on ps4 and its just a nightmare.
The trees are not useable you end up in them and it was 90% chance you didnt mean to if it happens during a firefight theres one of your heals cuz its so dumb trying to get out.
hey what i would do is go into controller mapping. choose predator. choose custom controls. map “change brach” to pressing the right thumbstick down. as far as i know that is not mapped to anything by default. that will give you seperate inputs for jumping and climbing.
or you could rebind it any way you want but it is possible on ps4 as well. the mappings you want to change are “jump” and “change branch” make sure they are not the same. change branch is the input to ascend trees also.
