I still play nightly and I dont have any problems getting matches.
As a matter of fact, I just finished a game that had 3 new players to the game, nice guys too.

What op means is, the game should be dead. Its riding on the attention spans of the mindless players that really dont care how good/bad something is if its painted to look like something they are a fan of.
If this wasnt a predator game, it wouldnt have anyone playing it.

I dont understand the whole " if it wasn’t a Predator game no one would be playing it" arguement. That’s exactly why I bought it and why I play it because i like the subject matter quite a bit. Of course people wouldnt play it of it was Fireteam vs PMC vs random alien entity.
Sure the game has problems , most of which I’ve experienced first hand, but they are trying to address issues. Fast enough for me but not fast enough for others.
I went into this game with no expectations and I am pleased with the game for what it is. They nailed the atmosphere and the Predator is very well done.
This, of course is my opinion, and I dont expect everyone else to have the same one. I will continue to support the game and I won’t let other peoples opinions change my mind.

I can’t tell you what the current player count is. But what I can tell you is interest for the game is at an all time low…
YouTubers barely get any views, and hardly anyone streams it on twitch and when they do, hardly anyone watches.

Its the franchise curse. It struggles but ultimately they had made their fanbase already. The only way youtubers will be interested is if they are allowed to help establish a fanbase themselves on games that are less interesting to the audience at large. Ghost of Tsushima is getting alot of hype only because its a game that is one of it’s kind…the same can be said about Cyberpunk.
I would probably guess that The Arkham series is having a bit of a tumble in interest. After Arkham Knight, and its inherent flaws, we won’t see much fanfare in the next one unless there is something substantially different about it.
Fuck youtubers lol. Honestly wouldn’t care if all youtubers that picked this game up on there channel have their channels die on them so they can go get a real job

The reality of it is that this game is niche. Its niche like splinter cell SvM was just like every other assymetric multiplayer. It was never going to be a game where everyone mindlessly plays game after game bragging about their KD ratio and streaming for likes.
Its stealth action, it requires skill to play as predator and the mindless fucking numbskulls who want that quick call of duty / fortnite fix cannot adapt and lose interest because the learning curve is too high.
They aren’t gamers, they are consumers…
The game is only dead when nobody wants to play it, right now I’ve no problems finding a game and there is an eager community of players. Those who are still playing it now are hooked on the concept, they don’t want the usual consumerist F2P and F2W formulas so they aren’t going anywhere.

Warframe, war thunder, planetside 2, csgo, crossout. Im sure theres more but you get the idea.
Though aside from warframe none of them are better than phg when it comes to the shadiness of the paid shit.
