This games gameplay needs reworking

Been off the game for a few months and after playing with the new dlc i honestly dont know what i ever saw in this game,

Thats incredibly mean but i mean whats even the point anymore, all but 2 weapons are useless,
And the fact you have both a timer and the heli picking everyone up 5 minutes into the game just kills the point,
the fireteam is almost entirely not a threat unless the heli is a factor, and even thats messed up by the fact you can have 1 fire team member leave and the game ends all while im standing infront of the rest that are left behind just about to kill em,
How lame that i spend 80 percent of the game chasing ppl around, shoot me for god sake, this games just not fun, the juice is not worth the squeeze,
If you just gave us a choice of different game modes, this gane would be uncompareably better,
Give the fireteam 50 lives for all i care, give me a mode without the helicopter, or let me shoot it down and finish them, im tired of chasing people, that helicopter breaks the game, its the main cause of everything wrong with this game,

All we do is chase people, and there not even running from us,
There are so many things that could improve this game,
Could create environment traps like burning down the forest to force eachother to go a certain path or die, that would be gigantic for a game like this, itd even affect the predators vision,
And they thrive in the heat so you’d give em a buff in some regard for their trouble,
give us reasons to do and not do things,
Give the fire team reasons to split from the group,
Give us all ways to get more powerfull during the match, make a single fireteam member match up to the predator if they set it up and earnt it, give em traps to use like in predator 1,
Theres no strategy in this game, theres nothing to work towards during the match,
All there is, is to rush with all you got, and get shot for no reason because of the helicop-out

Sounds like your aiming for that battle royale kind of battle with the enclosing arena…that would be cool. Devs would have to tweak some things around though to make this work. I’d hate to be in a small space with a death squad.

@moralez I think that’s what the problem is for most Preds either you play on easy with potatoes or extreme with a death squad. Very rarely can I find a balanced match. JelouGaming’s idea of properly fitting classes with their proper weapons and gear should of went from launch. This is typical of these type of games.

There should definitely be a no-escape mode… with a 3v12 setup… and no timer… or missions… and when preds lock on a target it sends the position to the others like spotting… yeah that’d be a cool game.

I actually decided to face a pc-death-squad I even know the players off since I started playing the game in August 2020.
And I got those three killed until the last one got reinforcement and the game just decided to screw me over on the pigs. But I can now for sure tell that I made a good decision to not face then before I got my new gaming pc setup (the three kills were on the new setup), because before whenever I tried it on my notebook I didn’t even got one kill at all. Guess my notebook didn’t allow me to be quick enough in reacting to them.
I definitely will try to face more of them now to improve in my skill as a Predator.

Of course… A good performing pc helps in any game.
I can say the same, i have a ps4 and last christmas i got a ps5 and it’s much better. Smoother and the thermal vision with better graphics and resolution helps me spot and scan the FT from longer distances.

It’s amazing. Feels so much faster than a Xbox controller and the trigger stop is great too. It’s the only function I use with it.
It got some extra buttons to could be set but I like to play with the default controller settings.

Because this game needs 3 queues: for beginners, regular and highly skilled players.
Now in 80% of quick games as a fireteam there are 2-3 noobs with XP perks. And a lot of kids. Or if 4 experienced random players gather, they always play against a baby predator.

Or Illfonic needs to add an in-game Fireteam Tutorial which only after you completed it allows the players to go to public matches.

Ew no. You basically know how to play fireteam if youve played literally any first person. You just need to know how to switch gear

This coming from the guy who posts “helpful” tips on a forum where 99% of the people have been playing since the first few months. Having a FT tutorial, especially a mandatory one that covers all the functions of FT not just point and pew would help the newer players tremendously. Sure it may all devolve down to “look down and press/hold button to do X” but that would at least let people know what do do in most scenarios.
