It’s not an upgrade but a whole new game! of course it’s not 69.99 like when we got it or more like the collectors but they make it up by you buying the DLC! Though you have to buy bundle editions, like for example: Jungle Edition has no Jungle Hunter and is going to confuse the masses! Plus a add on with exclusive masks for 14.99! It’s all a mess! Why can’t people who already bought this game and everything else just upgrade to ps5 and all their stuff transfer with it! It makes no sense!

It is a scam. Illfonic likes doing shady business practices, there was a huge issue with Exiled and their Predlocks a few years ago, almost came to a point where there was going to be court action taken against them for it. And of course, Illfonic didn’t address any of it. There’s a lot more too, more than most people are aware of about them and the shit they’ve pulled. Illfonic is not a good company.

It is confusing but you can ask around or get refund and buy preferred pack.
They did do dirty to PS4 players if getting PS5 version doesn’t to transfer DLCs and progress.
They didn’t even notify that PS4 support would be stopped, if that is the case.

I’m not gonna lie though, those seven matches I did play as FT were some of the best I’ve ever had. I don’t know what Illfonic did to tighten the aiming, make moving backwards more fluid and faster and whatever else, but I never had games this good on PS4. Last weekend I was playing and lost like nearly every match. Tonight I was KILLING it. Felt really nice.
Illfonic still sucks though. I had bugs up my ass nearly every game, including one where I couldn’t fire my guns for several seconds after being downed and revived.
