Fear of people who don’t look like you goes back to when you would be in conflict with surrounding tribes or settlements. It is a base instinct and these are very hard to overcome. So in a way, everyone is born racist. White people control much of the worlds wealth despite being a tiny minority of world population. Therefore it is easy to paint them as the “bad guys” all the time. Some actually are bad but this again is a minority. All colours and creeds have their share of assholes but it’s hard to get support when you call a starving African a racist (even if he is) than it is to get support to cancel a wealthy white guy because he made an ill informed Facebook post a decade ago.
Everyone regardless of race is just another human. Nobody is special, nobody is better. There are haves and have nots in every country no matter the skin colour of the majority population.
