objectively concerning this patch i dont think its been great. some desperately needed fixes for ps4 perhaps i can agree to that. a lot of stuff which was reported hasnt been touched. you can look at the reports. plus there is more new stuff. i can see that in less than a few hours playing it. you just need to look at the reports yourself. the fact that they are going at a rate of a patch a month is especially unimpressive. at this rate they will always be playing catch up and it would appear they cant be bothered to catch up anyway.

ya that is reasonably stated. You are right the DLC is optional. The initial asking price is less than average. I donāt think we are being scammed. I think they either settle for being mediocre or dont know how to be more or dont have the resources as mentioned. I was happier with the state of the game prior to this patch personally but Iām not raining on the ps4 parade because it sounds like it is a more enjoyable experience there now.

no and i dont mean to appear like i came here to immediately shoot down someone enjoying the patch. Iām happy for that, It just wasnāt enough for the time we had to wait for it IMO. the patchā¦ not the dlcā¦ the dlc is good fun. Iād love some hotfixes.
oh i agree, the patch ideally shoulda been a week ago atleastā¦but i had a feeling they were being quiet cuz they were working on the DLC and what not and planning a patch with it or shortly before it
Iām not too familiar with patches released for crossplay games as I am on PC. maybe that is affecting how they can push them out so there is that.

Facts man, love how well they delivered, but yeah no one wanted to listen.
So when it comes to the crossplay patches they have to do them each individually. Unfortunately this was meant to be a PS4 game that was decided to be ported to PC later. Sony is the publisher, you know they wanted the PS4 optimized first. When doing these patches itās two teams that work in parallel, but Iām sure they put more love into the PS4 side of the house this patch. They did listen to us, just give it some time. Itās a shit ton harder to optimize PC because of all the different hardware that can exist, just be patient, they will get it right.

The ps4 graphics and frame rate seem a million times better. I lost connection and got booted twice but that might have just been on my end. I bought Dutch, I had to and I love it. Tapes were pretty neat too. I still need to dig into the optimizations for Pred but Iām loving this so far!
Iāll play with Dutch tomorrow, I played like 15-20 games as Pred tonight. I wanted to see how well they optimized our predlocked friend. So far pretty damn impressed with the PS4 patch. Only hit one bug and it was the freeze while eating a pig one. So thatās still a thing, other than that, no fucking complaints from this happy hunter.

Only bug i had was decloack when i drew the bow on the first shot, other than that its solid.

I also had my first crash to desktop today.
I also noticed slam animations act goofy in your own private match. Not a huge deal just odd.
