My first thoughts about plasmacaster was like, god damn, that thing is realy fast. But it did not fokused on his own. They may made that faster, but giving away the most iconic gimmick? I think they gonna nerf both teams and they could ad that to predator.
What are you guys thinking about that?

You mean like auto targeting? Eh I doubt they’ll add that. They probably want to keep its success(or lack there of) in the hands of the users rather than have it auto lock.

Auto-aim would be ridiculous, no point at all… but I think it could be improved, yes. As you mentioned, it’s soooo “a Predator weapon” that we really should use it. I’m not sure about the other ranged weapons, but I feel like the accuracy it’s not THAT good now. When I decides to try a build range, I’m surely will practice with the blaster.
There are many other weapons causing more damage as the plasmacaster and they gonna nerf it anyway so why not? Expierienced players do not spend that much egenergy for shooting with the caster.
I don’t think the PC needs too much adjusting to be honest. Maybe either increase its base damage a hair or reduce the time it takes to fully charge. But it’s a pretty solid damn weapon.
the plasma caster is legit the best weapon in the game. besides the bow and a full charged headshot its the only weapon in the game that can 1 shot down human players. you should be using the full charge shot all the time…
Plasma caster seems fine in my opinion, I think it’s well balanced. The only issue I see with it is the terrible hitbox where it explodes because there’s a palm leaf in the way.

It is indeed the “Predator weapon” and is why I primarily use it. It’s the most consistent long range weapon in the Predator arsenal. The only issue with it right now is that it can be stopped by the smallest branch or leaf. It has ruined many good shots and given away my position more times than I can count. But I still love it.

I got ya, I’m kinda stubborn too, lmao. I always use it when I have the chance. Btw, I will give it a try with the bow too, but I think it’s not worth it, since plasma is already a good ranged weapon. Anyone knows if bow maybe deals more damage?
I like to role play the Predator and feel that the Plasma Caster and long range skirmishes encapsulates the Predator experience. I very rarely go melee. I just get a thrill out of hearing the music and sounds while stalking and planning my attacks.
