The Valkyrie is a hybrid class based on the Hunter, but with Stamina turned into a Scout.
This combination is very powerful and can perform all of the current mainstream styles (Lantern, Monkey, Street Killer).
Once her unique abilities are discovered, she will be the perfect class.

i would assume
Monkey: is predators that spam jump/leap in their playstyle always moving
Streetkiller is a more ground focused game either focusing on short/mid range bow fighting or melee utilizing the maps cover to their advantage
lantern is players that stay at 25+ meters using primarily projectiles so they seem like a light from far away i suppose
as those are the go to right? (albeit i have never ever heard anyone use these terms to describe predator play aside from monkey)

sry, that was a minor analogy.
Run & Gun: A style of hunting by sprinting and jumping to keep moving around the mission area.
Monkey: A style of fighting in the trees.
Street Killer: Leap, Attack, and Leap.

Yeah the Valkyrie is a really good pred from what I’ve seen
It;s been so long since I’ve played but I saw the update and got the Valkyrie just because she’s as close to the Matriarch as we’re prolly gonna get. I like the hammer but it’s too slow for how I used to play, but she looks BOSS with the katana so it’s all good. Her armor looks amazing. I really don’t like the default armors! Thank you.
Haven’t played any matches yet but good choice for the roster! Now how about a city map? xD

has anyone figured out if valkyrie has any other balancing besides low gear ?
She does not have the bullet damage resistance
of the other predators, like the hunters, alpha, and scout, so her “effective” health is less than hunter and about 5% more than alpha.
