Three Things PHG Needs to Change.

In this Feedback, I’m going to cover 3 things I believe the Game needs to Change to get Better.

1º-) The Question of Level (150) and XP.
I wonder why until Today Illfonic hasn’t removed the Level, if the Game doesn’t have a Ranking, or something like that.
If the Level Hadn’t stopped at 150, we could at Least use this as a Parameter of who is still more Actively Playing the Game, and form Better Teams in Quick Matches.
If a Person is Parked at Level 70 for Example, He Will Not Play with a Person who is at Level 140. This would justify the Gain of XP.
Today, all XP gain must be converted to VT gain. We need VT. We don’t need XP.

2º-) The Question of Field Lockers.
What they are for?
Just to Unlock Mythcal Items, Right?.
But I wonder: Why Not Make This Mythcal Items, More Challenging and More Objective to Unlock?
Today, I suggested those Mythcal Items could also be Unlocked through the Capsules on Optional Quests that we have to made the Extraction along with an Item (A Bag that simply provides a little more XP Points.).
But was just a suggestion.
We also could have to face specific challenges to unlock these items.
For example: To unlock the Jungle Hunter '87 mask, we would have to do an “X” Damage to Predators with Soldier “Dutch” '87.
We need to agree.
Play PHG, for collect VT, to Play a “Game of Luck” in these field lockers, is a real waste of time. But like many people, I want to Unlocked these mythical items!.

3º-) The Question of Daily Challenges and Weekly Challenges.
I still think these challenges are misconfigured.
We don’t need Weekly Challenges!
If we had 3 challenges and 48 hours to complete the 3 challenges, it would be GREAT!.
And if, in this case, we meet the Challenges before this Deadline, Updating a New Challenge Automaticaly would also be GREAT!.

I already spoke, and I repeat.
The Purpose of This Game Should Not Be Play to Win VT, to Unlock Personalization Items.
So we need these Changes.
Please, when Previewing, Like the Post.
Be a part of the Idea.
The Post is with the Intuition of Making the Game Better!.

  2. Solution: remove field lockers, allow all items available through purchase, jack up prices, allow purchasable veritanium.

  3. Challenges are a must. This game is not exactly thriving but still kickin, sometimes these minimal and redundant challenges help. They could surely be tweaked to build-relative challenges to get more players accustomed to a variety of playstyles, but it’s just an idea. Things are still surprisingly barebones.

I don’t really see that happening. Surprisingly Veritanium is easy to get if you Grind Privates, do Daily and Weeklys, and then play FT mostly lmao. I once thought they would monetize Field Lockers, but they haven’t at all really. All Microtransactions have just been Classes and a Year 1 Predator Class Bundle.

I agree.

A. Level doesn’t equal skill. It’d be more efficient to make matchmaking based on W/L ratio.

B. This would make people who make take risks more (long claims, defuses, optional objectives) level up faster while players who don’t level up slower even though the players who take less risks are deadlier since they focus purely on winning rather than reward.

That’s right. In short, the ideal would be to Remove the Field Lockers. And allow this VT Gain and Unlocking Items in a Simple and Objective way. But mythical items need something more challenging for them to be conquered.

Yes, challenges are needed.
But what I’m suggesting is an adjustment in the configuration of the challenges.
Because today, we have 2 weekly challenges and 1 daily challenge, right?.
But if we complete the challenge, we need to wait a week to update a new challenge. That is the problem.
As I said, we could have the Same 3 Challenges. But the Minimum Time to Update a New Challenge, should be 48 hours. But if the Challenge is Completed before this Deadline, the Challenge is already Updated Immediately.

My Friend, these Additions are Really Necessary.
But in this Post, I’ve Focused on Presenting Changes That Are Not Directly Related to Adding Content.
Even though more Maps, Weapons and Characters are added, these Problems will continue.

@Xenomorph_2099 Friend, as I said in the Post:

Playing PHG with the Purpose of Collecting VT, Totally Nulls the Fun of the Game!.
Hunting with your Friends, going to the Map doing Challenges, and getting VT is one thing.
Now, doing Private Matches, and Challenges just for the purpose of earning VT, is an Absurd Waste of Time!.
That’s why we need alternatives to Earn More VT in a Better Way.

@Eshtion I know that Level is not related to Skill in this Game.
But I was clear when I said:

We can use this as a parameter.
A person who is at a lower level has probably stopped playing or is new to the game.
Now, people with higher levels, probably are people who are still playing; And they are up to date on new weapons, new equipment, new maps.
It makes teams better.

What I’m suggesting is that these Mythic Items can be Unlocked by Specific Challenges.
FOR EXAMPLE: To Unlock Mythical Item “X” ,as a Fire Team Member, Deal “X” Damage to Predator with Weapon “X”.

@Eshtion, If we had enough VT, several people had already stopped asking for the VT gain to be changed, don’t you agree?.
As I explained to a Colleague right here, Automatically Updating the Challenge after Completing this Challenge would allow us to do more Challenges.
Wouldn’t that be better?.

Or a Smurf or sweat.

The only thing important in matchmaking (beyond quality of life like internet connection and speed) is skill.

Anything beyond that is a waste if time or an attempt to find skill through alternative measurements.

And I understand that. I know you weren’t advocating for It, I was just saying we’d have to be careful about not doing that.

No like I said the VT economy is aweful as is.

That’s why I’m suggesting with this Post that Illfonic take that level out of the game and end with the XP. I think it would be the best solution. Do not you think?.

But if it’s Really Bad, Shouldn’t there be a Change?.

I think level still has some use as something to grind for as soon as Illfonic makes some content to grind for after a level increase.

We just need the content.

Plus there’s still new players.

Though until we get that content I do agree with EXP transfer to VT since that doesn’t ruin the economy much.
