Time is convoluted

Demons Souls.

Except they’re in different continuities

Besides were complaining about Anor Londo making a comeback

What ever will demon souls bring back in it’s sequal

Yeah, just sayin it’d just be demons souls lol

I’d love to see a sequel of that though instead of Elden Ring. Plenty to bring back especially the chance to actually fight the old one instead of just kinda putting it back to sleep… you can put it to sleep after a sweet boss fight.

They could also delve more into the nature of sorceries since magic was said to be part of the darkness that the old one brings. Or, miracles and what the sorcerer npc said about those umbasa bros ‘not even knowing what theyre worshiping’. Could be a squid boss.

You just complained about DS3 bringing back one area

And it wasn’t even fully implemented

Spells come from the power of the old one

Not that much more to add

And the thing the Umbasa bro’s worship is the old one

Spells and miracles originate from the same place

So make a game about it… what’s wrong with that? It could be the merger of bloodborne and souls that ds3 tried to be.

Better than elden ring. I’d rather have souls 4 or bloodborne 2 by a longshot.

DS3 wasn’t a merger

Sure it had heavy elements of BB but it was supplemented into DS’s story

You just complained Because DS3 wasn’t original enough despite most of it being in the same fashion as a typical sequal.

You think BB2 isn’t going to take place in Yharnam?

A new IP is nothing but originality

Uh yeah, it was a merger. One of the biggest initial complaints was enemies moving faster than the player should be able to keep up with. The enemy signs in a lot of places also seals it.

No, why would bb2 take place in yharnam?

A. Thought you meant story

B. You could absolutely keep up with the enemies

C. I’d hardly call increasing the pace a merger with BB though it definitely did come because of BB

Because Yharnam is the only place with blood imministration

Dude look at some of the enemies if the general combat flow doesn’t give it away. Many enemies look like bb drop outs.

Grave is normal

Typical hollows in rags

Lothric is normal

Bunch of knights

The town looks like peasants

The woods does have the lupo enemies but you got the typical hollows as well

Dark wraiths are DS1 enemies

Ghru’s are 50/50

Ya they’d fit in Bloodborne but so would the jail keepers in Demon souls

The Cathedral is again more hollows

Have the one enemy that spews curse I’ll give you that

Catacombs and smoldering lake are skeletons an demons so that’s fine

Irythal

The dogs resemble the gaping dragon but furry

Beyond that you got your knights

Have the centepedes monsters but supposedly that’s based on a Japanese myth

But I don’t have a source for that so I count that as two just to straw man my own argument

Anor Londo has knights

Profaned city has the jailors

The hand enemies but that’s a low bar for BB

Especially when we already had the jail cell monsters in the dukes archives

Gargoyles

Maidens

Lothric castle is more knights

Intended graves is black knights and wardens

DS3 has a lot more hollow enemies than I remember

Either way your going have to bring evidence yourself

Thanks for paying attention

Congrats on the most lukewarm take imaginable

Ya well at least I back up my points instead of just shouting out claims like I’m right

DS3 had Bloodborne’s combat speed which was blatantly obvious, I didn’t know anyone convinced themselves otherwise.

It works in bloodborne because you have dashing and guns anime fights. Flows really well.

But sucks for a game with swords and shields DS3 is the weakest entry for me in all things.

No one is

What?

Sure parries are worse but so are the enemies

DS3 acts more of a middle ground

Slower than BB

Faster than dark souls

Plus you still have the brigand daggers with quickstep and base rolls are faster to compensate

Plus your reasoning for it not working in DS3 is because it has swords and shields?

Ignoring the fact that BB’s strongest weapons are swords and some of DS3’s strongest PVE builds don’t use shields beyond parries or stat boosts

You have a point but your reasoning is off

Dark souls 3 is linear reducing exploration and world building as well as reduced empthesis on RPG mechanics making tank builds dead and lightweight builds pointless do to the base roll being good enough anyways.

The more forgiving I-frames takes away empthesis on learning attacks and allows players to spam roll their way beyond all but the hardest fights which are optional anyway

Not to mention embers which are buffed up humanity giving players 30% extra health compared to previous games

DS3 is an action game where as DS1 was an action/RPG with gameplay that supplemented it’s knowledge based gameplay loop

Yes its garbage.
This is a sword and shield knight rollan blockan game.

You’re saying what I just said in that it works in bb and is trash in ds3.

Because it is.

Weakest entry.

NO ITS NOT

sir stank builds were viable but rolling was always at the core of the gameplay

Have you seen a DS Speedrun?

And what about light builds? You think a buckler is going to block a Havel attack?

No you said BB has guns, a dash, and DS has swords and shields, so therefore a faster pace doesn’t work, when non of those things actually contribute DS3’s problems

Your too vague

DS3 is slower than BB and as such parries work fine in DS3

DS3 also has faster rolls so the player is also sped up to match it

Swords are in BB

And shields aren’t even used in PVE

Twin blades and the like have too much DPS to actually bother with one

Fuck time. All my homies hate the eldritch horror known as time
