and when there was a server crash for 16+ hrs they chose to cover their paid dlc… instead of addressing the servers
Time to talk to Epic
that’s just absolutely ridiculous
Scary…makes you think all theyre bothered about is trying to get the dlc out to make more money…but having arnie running around aint gonna fix the predator problems…
Interesting that you think thats how it works. Or at least the final two steps of the chain.
Not to mention Sony doesn’t do PSN returns. Like ever.
I hear the predators left the jungle and is currently in rehab with serious issues…
yep… give FT more skins… they totally have less than Pred rn lol
If you purchased directly through sony, I can not give advice on that as I personally didn’t.
And yes if it goes via epic and they have to refund, the cost of the goods they purchased are credited back to epic from sony (it’s called business).
I heard we can’t, humans are getting intensive care due to mortality rates >;)
Hey I’m not mad or glad about any of it.
I just find it humorous that you’re so confident a few returns will bring a studio down
a few… no.
Tens of Thousands yes (especially considering their previous disasters).
They have sold just under 70,000 copies world wide
especially during an epidemic lol… it may not take them down overnight… but they’ll start caring when they start losing major income lol
Nah.
I like your optimism about it though
that’s extremely low
shit in japan they sold less than 10k copies and that’s one of the highest markets for game sales on the planet (after south korea)
How much of that is PSN? Honest question.
Ontop of that, this studio has done it’s own shit for several years.
The only thing that could kill it would be that it didn’t sell in the first place.
Sale vs budget / profit formula.
That being 70K is not impressive, even with an IP like this, so that could be the tripping stone.
Refunds won’t really do it.
But since the mouse owns it, its interesting to see if the future holds anything significant.
that’s PS4 sales japan, [PS4] Predator: Hunting Grounds (SIE, 04/24/20) – 9,172
Yeah but those areas aren’t big fans of this IP. Thats kinda like saying farming equipment doesn’t sell good in the city
I play in australia, and I’m more likely to be playing against japanese players or south koreans than australians. Occasionally europeans if I stay up late enough.
70k units world wide…
That is probably a huge contributing factor if you have long ass queues.
How were the AU sales?
I run into UK and some AU and fewer SK/JP players into the night.
But yeah bigger nail in the coffin for sales woulf be its sales to the Western Audience, NA/SA/CA/UK because that would be its bigger broad audience appeal.
Australian units are under 3k…
how many UK people you run into?
I Haven’t met any yet.
Americans I get early in the morning…
I mean… PHG was in the top 20 (15th) for all PS games sold in April.
Considering thats only a week of sales, as the game came out the last week of April, during a pandemic when more people are home buying games etc, with big sales on top rated games.
70k is a poor estimate unless you have actual proof?
I saw reports of numbers of 250k sold, now that’s unclear if ps only, PC only or combined. But that number would better reflect their position in the april chart.
