I came across a truly excellent predator as part of a high level fireteam, 2 of us as a fireteam were downed but the other two players kept the pred busy, we both took ages to bleed out and I thought would anyone like some way to be able to recover without help from another team member like the bomb defuse puzzle that kicks in just before bleeding out totally that’s pretty tricky to pull off and only at the end of the bleed out duration to give preds enough time to claim?

Way back when I was putting forward the idea of having the syringes change from an instant healing item to a self revive item, like an adrenaline shot of sorts.
Would help in those situations where you’re being used as bait or the Pred is busy wiping the rest of the team.
I mean this is a valid tactic.
You already get reinforcement to full health and gear while I may be down most of gear killing 3 of you first time around. Now you want to be able to revive yourself? Please understand how difficult it can be for pred already.

I defo get where you’re coming from, as a Pred main I know all the trials and troubles of day to day pred life, haha.
It was mainly just an idea I had floating around when there was a lot of umming and ughing at the healing speed of FT members, so I thought “What if the syringe was a self revive instead of an instant heal?”
Might be a little strong when thinking about it in depth, hahaha
I could only get behind a self revive syringe if its cost takes up all gear slots so it would be the only gear you have and you can have 2 of them. Otherwise if it cost too low of points it’d be broken and hella annoying lol but if you give up med kits and regular syringes thatd be balanced 😁

I think that would be too much, the FT already has a metric ton of healing options, from their own syringes, to the med pack they can carry(along with their teammates) to the med kits littered throughout the map PLUS the respawn mission. Allowing the FT to pick themselves up is just overkill.
