Tired of seeing all this "hype"? Think the train has passed?

In my honest opinion.

From the consumers perspective, it is incredibly hard to swallow the responses we are recieving from you guys. (Understanding its not your fault due to Sony being in control?l

BUT

Attempting to develop hype, when this game is in its already fragile state, is a poor move. Running contests (which half of said contests the majority of the world couldn’t join), making social media posts not directly acknowledging your community (crashes, bugs, game performance updates are reactionary) and just being steadfast in said way…

This game is slowly leaving the Battlefront territory of redemption. That game saved itself.

The community of people playing this game want content. Maps (more than just 1 every 6 months). More ways to experience the lore of this game.

I honestly cannot create a wish list of things that could save this game. This whole “waiting on Sony to give even the SLIGHTEST detail” to this game, with new console on the horizon (dont even know if this game will be ported), is BURYING this IP

Well… guess someone else will try again in 10 years.

Been playing since day 1 macho and still play the game.

My point is another “You You You Illfonin” Not communicating…ect…ect…doing this to us…release DLCs that suck etcetec…thats pretty much sums it up. The game is dead…etcetcetc, not telling us anything…etcetc.

ITs nobody’s place to ask for anything this way and expect triumph over the odds. I just think its like yelling into a pillow, and most people aren’t that silly. Have you ever thought about why companys’ release statements, or media blogs create articles? You must wait for those to happen. posting viral posts will do no good.

I think the pandemic has mildly distorted our perception of development in this game. It has caused delays as well as a situation where people are probably putting more time into the game than they might normally. I honestly think this has led to where we are now.

While I’m sure Sony is the root cause of communication issues, I feel like the slow movement of development isn’t helping. I think they have a lot more in store for this game, and originally wanted to be a little further along than they are, and circumstances created problems. That’s just my perspective on things though.

I still have a hunch we’ve got a lot more content in development that’s been delayed as a result of everyone having to work at home around the games release. We’re probably going to have a lot coming down the pipe. Whether or not it’s good or not remains to be seen but at this point we can all just sit back and enjoy what we have, or play around with other games until more content is released.

Instead of you know… double downing on their product as an intended full release?

We are presuming they had set backs due to the pandemic.

Then we have their art director saying her work hasn’t been impacted since working at home and she’s more productive.

It has created a very skewed sense of, do these guys even know how to communicate about their game at all?

If it weren’t for many people staying at home waiting out lockdowns, we’d probably find out about new updates and DLCs while actually being busy. Rather we are being busy at being annoying.

I would love to be out and about doing my thing, and get a surprise now and again, but like most of us, were clinging everyday for magic to happen.

It is ridiculous and somewhat degrading, not by our choice.

Yeah but, she’s part of a team, and while all I can do is speculate I imagine each team has complications now with communication and direction working remotely. Plus that’s a personal opinion, some people probably can work better at home. My roommate is a lot more effective at his job working from home, my wife was not. A lot of variables and things that go into it.

Wish the speculation wasn’t so forced on us and they actually made things TRANSPARENT.

BUT

I feel thats the hype sony and Illfonic think will keep this game going, again in my opinion, think it isnt working out as intended.

I completely agree with you, like a great man said once “incompetence should not be rewarded with blind loyalty”, i played this game since beta but now is the same thing over and over, clash is fun for a couple of times but this mode has nothing to do withe the real essence of game, and the devs are taking the game in another direction, only time will decide but right now its very dissapointing.

I wasn’t tought how to be completely and insanely disappointed at something that you might play everyday. Then someone says if you’re a good boy or girl you get a treat, then it doesn happen…then you get royally pissed and spit some hot fire at everyone and Santa clause.

There is tons to play around with…i only just got into play as predator and it opened up a shit load of things…so if you spoiled yourself from day 1 by exclusively playing as pred…thats your own damn fault~!
