for all the whiny predator players on the game, here is an explanation of why the fireteam knows exactly where you are at pretty much all times.

  • you make a bunch of elephant stomping noises when you move and its quite loud
  • it is very easy to see you even when you are cloaked, because thats just what pred hunters are looking for. any sort of movement automatically gives away your position
  • it is very easy to track you down when you are healing because of the fairly obvious bright green blood trail and VERY LOUD medkit noises from the healing animation
  • it is very easy to run after you when you are second winded, because you are a big glowing green glob flying through the air
  • it is very easy to see you in predkour because the tree branches shake around a bunch
  • your plasma caster laser is just a dead giveaway. its really easy to trace back to where you are standing
  • projectiles (arrows, smart discs, plasma pistol shots) are fairly easy to trace back to the source because of their extremely obvious tracers AND judging from the location they came flying in from

IN CONCLUSION: no, we are not hacking, we are just better than you. you just suck at playing predator and dont know how the game works. so just know that if i personally hear you crying over voice chat of “he’s hacking, he always knew where i was” im going to defuse your self destruct and teabag your body until the end cutscene while explaining how i use wall hacks and aimbot in a very sarcastic voice and then post the recorded match to youtube. good day to you

lies, you are just cheating using wallhacks, esd, aimbots and macros. The predator is completely invisible and stealthy silent. There’s no way you can find the predator using visual and audible cues alone. That’s not humanly possible. How do I know is not humanly possible? Because if I can’t do it, then no one else can.

also fireteam players if I change weapons fast as predator it doesnt mean im using macros

just because you can’t do it, doesnt mean no one else can.

You forgot to mention that when cloaked the predator gives regular audible pings by clicking noises - something that got fixed with the recent patch.

Anyway, when you have played on both sides long enough, you understand the many weaknesses of the predator. No hacks required for a good FT to dominate.

You won’t be able to teach them, but you can possibly honey pot them

Good point. Even players using controllers (PC and Consoles) can bind weapons to just about any button they want. You can even double bind functions. Custom bindings are one nice feature that Illfonic added that many devs don’t always do. Although, some of the bindings for PHG are a bit wonky/glitchy and need some clean up.

first of all it’s important to enjoy the game… without that you won’t get any skill… the worst thing is when someone pretends to be the best and spoils your experience… for me it’s good to play both sides to reveal the weaknesses on both sides
