Hey idk about you guys but I bought this game because I wanted an immersive experience. That tanked hard. So I had a few ideas that might make things a bit better. All ft weapons minus the knife should get a 50% damage boost. I also believe that a predator should be able to do a swift stealth kill, as well as having a decent boost in combi stick throw damage and smart disk throw damage. There should be fall damage for humans unless a certain perk is there. Friendly fire should also be added. Now you may think that this makes it easier for the predator but it doesnt. They will have to rely on stealth and precision. There won’t be anymore just jumping down and wailing till ft dies the boost would make that certain death as would quick claims. They would have to rely on stealth kills which would no longer need you to be downed 2 times. As well as their gadgets. I think that would be more emersive. Oh and to those thinking about how the party isn’t immersive it would no longer matter because noone would be melee rushing

I agree on almost everything you said except the 50% damage boost on all weapons… like the 50 cal snipers would melt breserker like its scout XD… like literally speaking… but maybe like maybe 5-10% damage boost on some assault rifles… pistol… shotgun, yes… but like smg, sniper, minigun, grenade launchers… NO

I mean yeah i see the point thats how i wanted the game to be actually… like more of realistic touch rather people speedrunning the game in matter of 3-5 and it takes you like 2 or less min to locate the fireteam and shit… so in general the only way your theory could work out now is for them to actually make extra large maps that last 35 min actually 35 min worth of objectives… and cant be speedrunnable by players… but yeah in that case i agree with you completely ;)
unfortunately this game doesnt pander to stealth, not when the predator stomps like a dinosaur, predator hoots and clicks loudly, thermal vision changing is loud as balls, FT commentating everything they do “mudding up!!!”, enemies spawning right ontop FT no matter the position not allowing to stealth or hide from the pred. this game drew its inspiration from MGS for stealth but executed on COD action game play mechanics, so as of now this game doesnt even know what it wants to be, talk about an identity crises…
Spear throw doesnt need a damage boost, its literally a 1 kill throw on scout and recon not to mention flash bangs anyone close to the throw and it cant be destroyed, arrows are instant kill on headshots and predator has infinite plasma caster and plasma gun ammo.
this game needs a re-haul from the ground up and focus more on stealth play as a core mechanic, but i doubt that will happen as quick action COD style gameplay is where the casuals are at. but here’s looking to the future and see where this game is once its out of early access.
I wonder how many would have bought this game if they had known about all this
to be honest with you the only reason i got this game cause i saw my fav streamer play the game with a bunch of buddies and also its the predator IP… if they made this game their bread and butter game and dived deeper into the games mechanics I would of not purchased the $60 price tag. Personally i dont believe in paying for early access games. but thats just me.
