To throw the switch or not throw the switch...That is the question.

Killroy here again. This one will be quick…

So been playing and ran by an alarm with preds and thought…Hmmm distracrion! Ran up to it and realized I could not turn on the alarm.

I think that would be a cool feature to add to disrupt and otherwise methodical well organized fire team.

What say ypu community?

Actually would be a very cool feature.

It could possibly throw them off for a moment or so

I can’t hit like on this enough, lol. Also it’s odd that if you are in solo private match as Pred and no FT, if the AI hits the alarm NO reinforcements arrive EVER.

I’m super tired of having to plasma the ground near an NPC, and hope that they decide to throw the alarm instead of running out into the middle of the jungle and just stand around for the next five minutes.

Easy workaround to this is just run infront of an Ai and let them see you before you throw on your cloak, they’ll trip the alarm for you

Last time I’ve tride this they’ve just abandoned the camp… that was a treat for the FT. Match ended in under 4 mins…

If you’re near the outside of the camp when they see you it can draw them out because all of the AI will go to where the first one starts shooting at you to start looking for you, it may work better if you let them see you more towards the center of the camp so they don’t wander off. Hope it helps man

Can’t you de-cloak and just run through the camp to freak out the AI trigger alarm? I feel like I’ve done that.

There are work around’s to this yes. But work around’s are simply ways to achieve the outcome you actually want, when there is no actual direct way to achieve the effect. Yes you could do those things, but having the predator able to trigger the alarm itself provides so many more tactical options in my opinion as opposed to running around saying “I am here!” in hopes the AI are smart enough to say holy crap throw the switch.

The goal of the switch is to provide the predators with more tactical approaches to situations vs. the current meta of directly engage and smash their face as soon as possible. I want feel like a hunter, not a battle diving Achilles from Troy.
