My xbox elite series 2 controller I use to put the smackdown on you all has been damaged. The RB is the issue so leaping like I do with precise timing and stealth is much more challenging to do. Not that I can’t master the defective RB I rather play with real class. So im taking a break from playing as Pred and joining FT in the meantime. Anybody having issues connecting with friends? My son and I tried to play as FT last night but we weren’t on our friend’s list.
Today is a sad day.

Damaged how? Is there visual damage? If not it could be something as simple as something stuck inside . Open it up

The RB itself wont register until maybe the 4th 5th time I press down…
I got warranty but don’t know when I’ll get it back…
Just change leap to r3
@Cptclutch117. R3 activates my taunting. But that still would be odd trying to hold down R3 and navigate a leap. I have a PS4 remote I was using but the cable is so loose on the end it keeps disconnecting mid game.

I decided to go all out when I picked my pc parts. If I was gonna spend I was gonna spend. Never used any other controllers beside playstations’. Googled best pc remote and was like fuck it.
Yea, I got the wireless USB adapter but use it wired most of the time. I’ve bought other off brand ones because of the look but the thumb stick breaks after a few months.
My old Dualshock 4 had that issue. Use the warranty if you have damage, ez new controller. As soon as I get stick drift in my controllers I use the warranty, since stick drift is inevitable on PS controllers
Sometimes cleaning them out helps with dirt etc , sometimes it is deeper though and its the component
If you open it up, it immediately voids the warranty. If you go to gamestop after opening it up, it’ll be fine since they don’t check for that stuff when you trade it in or use the warranty. If you plan to use Gamestop’s warranty, you should be able to open it up and still use the warranty no problem. But Sony always checks and will contact you if they notice any abnormalities possibly caused by the user. To quote them, any damage caused by the user, random acts of God, intentional or not, void the warranty
