Fat chance the game probably can’t handle space combat like that. You have to remember games are harder to make these days and require a lot more work. Even if they added it, consoles probably can’t handle it because of all of the other factors.
Well most people disagree with you. If you enjoy the game good for you. But a lot and I mean a lot of other people don’t. They’re opinion is just as important as yours. Don’t dismiss them because they’ll actually help this game get better.

Nah it was a shity game made by a shity company who drop the game for make the next battlefield. Sorry I have grow up with the original one that as still play a lot and expect of the graphics the old one is still more fun

As much as i’d love a monthly dev stream so people could see what’s going on and still bitch about how long it takes, their preferred platform is twitter.
It ultimately makes no difference because the content will be released when it’s ready to be released whether they talk about it beforehand or not. They just said roadmap is still happening in the ps blog so there you go communication - the game is not abandoned and the end is not nigh they acknowlege the doomsayers. People that want the new game mode will play it when it’s released, just take a break instead of sinking 100 hours into the game and then saying there’s nothing to do.
Yes I’m sure people will play a new mode when they finally add it next year. Seriously though, a lot of their stuff they’re doing is inexcusable and the fact that people defend it no matter how scummy it is (such as their horribly worded statement about the trial being a fraction of the game which was clearly intended to mislead people and hype them up) is ridiculous and will only be the downfall of this game. Imagine if most people were defending Battlefront 2 on launch, that game will still be as shit as it was at launch if that was the case. And that’s only going to happen to this game if more and more people excuse their shitty behaviour.
You’ve only been praising the Devs for what’s to come. Not for the game we have now. I wonder why that could be. Because there’s next to nothing to praise. Imagine if this game got no patches after release. You’d be pissed. At least I would hope you would be. The fact of the matter is for the game we have NOW, it’s shit. It lacks content, it’s barely functional and it’s wildly unbalanced. If they released this game a decade ago, people wouldn’t have it. It would’ve flopped on release. But because people use the excuse that they’ll fix it later, they get away with it. And that’s exactly what these Devs are doing. It’s a scummy tactic. It sucked when no man’s sky, Battlefront and countless other games did it even though they’ve turned out to be good years after release.
I don’t know about you, but I buy a game expecting it to be finished on release. I don’t buy them based on the promise they’ll be fixed later.

The early access thing doesn’t really bother me my guy but i’ve played a lot of early access and heard the same arguments everytime. I’ve got my $40 worth of playtime whereas I played F13 for 2 hours and thought that was absolute trash. The forums did not affect content that was released in Battlefront 2 those were on the roadmap from the start the game itself was unfinished at the beginning like many others.
Complaining about it did not get anything done any faster regardless of whether or not you feel content drop dripfeeds are scummy for not being the content you want when said content isn’t ready for release. The alternative to these titles is just not launching the game for another 2 years.
Okay but they advertised it as a full game, not early access. Just because you’re okay with that doesn’t make it right. Most people expected a full game. Instead they got a half assed early access. That’s not okay.
No, people complained about the pay to win in the game and what happened? They removed it. People contained about the lack of communication and what happened? They hired a good community manager.
People complain about the lack of communication from illfonic and what happened? Fuck all. People complained about the piss poor balancing and what happened? Ever so slight tweaks that ultimately made no difference at all with the exception of probably the elder sword.
People are pissed the game launched the way it did and are tired of only getting cosmetics. Not just because a map or mode hasn’t released straight away. If the game launched with more maps people wouldn’t be complaining as much.
If it means they took longer releasing the game then so be it. Most of us would much rather that than the bullshit we’re putting up with now.

Personally i’d rather play what’s finished now than wait two extra years for hunting grounds. It’s part of games being a service & its just the direction smaller teams go now. Even if you say you’d rather wait two years congratz you still can while others play what we have now its a non-issue.

Lol as much as I love shitting on illfonic for the 2 DOA games they’ve released and the outsourced work on Star Citizen that they got booted off of, i’m illfonic fanboying for saying take a break and wait for the content to drop before bitching about it for not existing.
It’s not constructive in any way and it does not help them put out content faster. Neither does a dev pesonally coming here constantly repeating WE’RE WORKING ON IT satisfy people that want things when they want them. It makes 0 difference to anyone but a vocal minority.
Had they declared the game was a finished project at launch on the other hand like they basically did with F13, i’d be pissed. But they are putting continued effort into the game regardless of whether or not its an untalented mess in the end atleast let them actually drop it first.
