You know, I’m just as bummed as the next guy about these items not popping up, but I’m sure they’ll come up at some point.

I think asking for them to give us our money back is a bit much as I preordered the game to support the devs. The bonuses were just a nice little addition. It’s frustrating that they haven’t popped up yet, sure. But that doesn’t mean it’s not being looked into. Illfonic is not a large team by any means, and honestly EGS isn’t the most complex platform. Honestly all of this makes me dislike EGS even more, lol.

Trying to talk to Epic customer support is just going to put you in a position where they’re just going to read from the customer handbook. They’re of no help at all unfortunately, unless you want a refund.

This sucks dude and you should have had this sorted considering what has been paid. Its one reason why I have asked if a community manager is actually employed at Illfonic. If there is then where the hell are they?

I think they’re laying low. If anyone here spotted a CM making posts they’d get fucking attacked, lmao. Not everyone can or wants to do something like that. I’ve done that before, and while the team was appreciative I was stressed AF. Lmao.

that’s why only platform i’ve used on pc is steam. i’ve heard nothing but bad things about the epic games store since they launched it. idk what kind of infrastructure they have, but it’s fucking weird on there. usually if you have a problem with that kind of stuff you’d deal with the vendor, not directly with the company unless it has something to do with a direct account.

Yup! I’d hands down blame a lot of this on EGS. Steam hasn’t had an issue like this. So something must be up with EGS’ backend and how they do granting. It’s stupid. Why wouldn’t bonuses be attached to a person’s account/tag. It’s insane to me.

Me too honestly i think its their problem but i did point out in my video that even if its Epic games fault the devs still built a back door to sloving the problem Via your account code in the settings menu at the bottom right. but they havent even tryed to do anything about it and its almost two weeks their is NO reason for it.

Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if Illfonic thought everything was A-OK, but then it wasn’t. So now they’re trying to figure it all out why trying to tend to bugs, etc. at the same time. I feel bad their team isn’t larger.

I wouldnt take it… its honestly at this point less about not having the item ( i do want it BADLY but) its more about the fact that people and my self have paid extra to have it and the other items and did not get them. you know? its like paying full price for a pizza only to get 1/4 of the thing and its half baked and still cold in areas. yes the pizza is good yes its tasty yes i want more of that pizza but thats kinda my point i paid to have the full deal and wasnt given it so it makes the pizza feel less good and not worth it, it makes you think " well if thats how they run the place then i’d rather not come here for my pizza".

The handful of us that have had problems with our pre-order content have been getting low communication from anyone.

i wouldn’t imagine you’d get much from illfonic since it’s the distributor’s job to deal with the sales aspects. epic was a bad choice for them to those over steam.

We are too many people, we have respected their quiet time and we have all contacted EGS and illfonic individually, it is like watching a tennis match, they throw the ball at each other and they do not respond and in the meantime time runs against YOU as consumer because there comes a time while you wait for a solution that exceeds 2 hours of play and then it’s over … They keep your money and there is no going back, you will never receive the content.
I totally agree with the author of this video and this message and with the affected colleagues with whom I have spoken and shared all the information we have been obtaining.

What is very curious to me is that most of us have had problems after purchasing the deluxe edition … ALL or at least 90%
