Nahhh. This game’s fine. Just needs more maps and modes. But that hardly makes it a shit game.

The game is definitionally what makes a bad game. Every patch is bugged. Severely low on content, awful wait times to play the game. And it runs poorly. That being said I love this game. But I’m also not biased and have no issue admitting it’s shit

Yeah, I can’t really disagree with any of that. Especially the wait times and bugs. But they do get fixed fairly quickly - not counting the bow bug. But even with all that it’s still more often than not a whole metric shit-ton of fun. Which is the most important thing.

All of his points in his original review came to light for the most part, despite him being a terrible ft player hes right, we still have lack maps, stability across the board and paying for shit that should of been in game from the start, in 10 MONTHS we have 4 maps and 2 gamemodes thats not enough to keep a game alive, and before people say be patient no its been 10 months this is unacceptable for a game thats been out for this long, and whats really shit is some of the content they gave us was allready made before the game was released like city hunters combi.

There’s points in the actual review video and he just died a regular hunter with combi, and said it was a beserker, and yeah some of it is being funny I’ll have to rewatch the video to see for sure.

Oh I apologise. I didn’t realise that anybody else’s opinion outside of your own was valid. My mistake.
Of course this game has problems, but it’s still fun DESPITE it’s shortcomings. If you hate it this much then why are you even playing it? Life’s too short for that.
A. There is objectivity. This game has a lack of content, it’s buggy, there’s not enough dynamic content, it’s poorly optimised, and it’s poorly balance.
B. Even if we’re only looking at opinions there’s a certain point where you have to say no.
And I like AVPR dispite it’s shortcomings…

I said it sucked not that I didn’t like it.
Because it’s a game as a service. They suck at first. Then later on they get better through updates. It’s an investment.

We could argue the semantics between opinion and fact all day but I’m struggling to see why you’re so insistent on there being an official title of quality. What exactly does that achieve? Nothing, that’s what.
Bottom line is I still find it fun even though it has some problems. But that’s just me. I’m not demanding everybody else share that opinion.
Well this is a forum page it is a place to discuss and debate.
Plus if 90% of the player base is fine with bad games your going to get bad games so having discussions on quality of content is also important.
Plus finding objective flaws and the value of said art is important to making better art ourselves.

I agreed with him I mean this game is literally everything wrong with gaming today; release it now fix it later mentality, unbalanced, and charging us money for dlc’s knowing the game was still in its beta phase. If anything maybe it should’ve been up there on top 5 :).

Finding objective quality in art is never gonna happen no matter how much you wish it to. That’s my opinion on it anyway, and I’m not going to continue down the semantic rabbit hole any further, sorry. It’s like arguing religion or politics. It’s pointless.

The thing is: people’s opinions are just that. Personal opinions. And there’s really no need to try and get any kind of objectivity out of it. That’s just not how opinions work.

Absolutely. But you’re never going to get an official label put to it.
Yeah, its bad. The insane amount of bugs, more so when it released, the abysmal content, bad animations, crap performance, console problems and so on all make it a bad game for the price point. We just enjoy it because of nostalgia and the predator trademark. That and probably the fact that you don’t really have many options in the same format as here.
At LAUNCH this should have had like 5% the bugs it had, FAR better balance then it did, 10 maps, 3 game modes (this game has no damn single player), not have missing animations just to name some. Then all the technical issues on PC, its badly optimized, consoles I know had other issues.

Do you really trust illfonic to make a singleplayer mode, when they can barely make a functioning ai?
In all seriousness the Predator fanbase is starved of any Predator content so no wonder people cling to this game cause its all they have whether its good or not, in fact the Predator franchise hasn’t been doing to well anyways, the only recent events are this game and the new movie,and the comics over the past years, but compared to most franchise this is drought.
