So, ran into a completely invisible Predator. No shimmer, no blood when hit, no decloak while melee or claiming. He seemed unaware it was happening. I began recording after he’d killed 3 of us, it starts when I’m on my way to the radio.
You’ll see this exploit better at the end 4:35 when he downs me and the last guy, then claims right in front of me.
@Courier Can you pass this onto the Devs please. If this is able to be reproduced and a YouTube guide springs up, this game will be unplayable.
Have run into this multiple times. All PS4 Preds. All different people too.
I’m hoping it’s just a bug linked to a skin shader or something, but I’m going to check on YouTube to see if some degenerate has posted a “How to…” video, if it’s becoming more common then there’s probably a video for it. It’s not a good sign either way.
I think it’s a bug linked to smart disk. Something like this existed with the disk in the beta. I’ve run into it a few times and the predator always has smart disk. Now whether they’ve figured it out and are doing it on purpose I really couldn’t say.
That makes sense. He was using the disc, and there’s the mechanics involved with invisibility when throwing it that could be bugging out or exploitable. Good point, and it’s a good place to start looking👍🏼

I didn’t realise it was happening until it was just me and another FT player at Drug Road, I saw him attacking and down that player but couldn’t actually see the Predator. I revived him, but he attacked again and claimed right in front of me before leaping away so I ran for reinforce and started recording because if this is exploitable and the method gets around the various communities, it’s going to break this game completely until it gets patched.
I messaged the Predator player with the video to prove what we were seeing, and asked him if he was aware but so far he’s refused to respond.
It’s weird also that I could hear him cloaking and uncloaking, so perhaps it still relies on the energy reserves to maintain it? I’m just speculating at this point though…
I have a suspicion it has to do with energy draining or overload

The Predator player has just replied back to me on PS Messages. Apparently, he was unaware that he couldn’t be seen. He watched the video, and says that from his perspective everything appeared as normal. He can see his Predator character, everything cloaks and decloaks as it normally would. It’s a pickle. I’m waiting for him to give me his Loadout details such as perks etc
Now this is more like it most of us are just frustrated and seeing responses helps reduce it
What version of the game is this?? You have better music score, the graphics are clean with gorgeous colours and the Prey Escaped cinematic is totally different to mine? I’m guessing you’re on PC??
It looks the same almost. From FT perspective even when he was cloaking and uncloaking we couldn’t see him or see him during melee and claims. You were also in third person perspective, is that part of the bug?

Ran into one yesterday - PC player this time and not PS.
You know I think it’s actually right that he was unaware of it, I have played a few matches and seen a vid where you could tell the predator was hesitating even when full invisible like he was expecting to get shot you know
On the one when he realises it he simply walks in and proceeds to murder the FT, was funny to notice that “they don’t see me moment”
This is not a glitch or a hack. James Cameron has unlocked a perk that allows infinite energy and invisibility. He never uses it though. The first time he did he wiped the FT in 19 seconds. Don’t you have this perk.
