What does your tournament support build load out look like?
Weapon, perks, items, specialization etc.

No preference. Im just curious what the load out looks like.
Im using the rocket launcher. It’s fun. Had a handful of direct hits earlier today in privates against Jelou. It seemed serviceable.

Support - Overseer
Weapon of Choice(M32 Rotary or the wack ass rocket launcher)
Doesn’t matter which secondary you bring, as long as you’re comfortable
Stims, Ammo Bags, and Medkits. Full hunting support.
Dexterous, Iron Lungs, Fast Hands
You can swap out the other two for whatever but Iron Lungs is a must since Support is so slow and his Stamina is abysmal. Also helps with knife fights. I just run Dex for faster mud.
The idea with this build is to hunt while someone else pushes mission, as doing mission with Support is the slowest it can go. Recon or Scout should be pushing while the other three hunt and distract the pred. Always have to make sure the LMS and mission pusher is going to be someone fast

Why do you recommend overseer over FM?
10 health per mission step can come in handy for everyone. Although Field Medic is great, most good predators will prioritize the Field Medic over everyone else, making it completely useless. It’s just that Field Medic that can turn the tide. If you lessen the threat, people tend to ignore it.
Same could be said for Overseer, but there are larger threats present that a good pred should prioritize. Including the Assault.

FM IMO is overrated. You put a target on your forehead because everyone hates it. Overseer can give you and your buddies as much as 200HP over the course of the entire mission. Very handy when you are dealing with pesky AI that nitpick at you all the time.
Plus im a bad FM. I never ever go pick somebody up unless I know the pred is away or in 2nd wind

But you can only play rocket launcher, lmg, or grenade launcher as a support for the tournament.

If you’re allowed to use Field Medic and you’re not, then you’re doing it wrong. When using Field Medic, you should be moving toward the player with the lowest heath, ready to revive the moment they drop.
If you’re worried about being targeted, (1) you’re not mudding up enough, (2) you’re not using cover enough, and/or (3) your teammates are terrible.
I recommend double time. Support’s biggest drawback is lack of speed and this will help you avoid damage and keep up with the rest of your team. Fast hands is probably the best one point perk. For gear, probably grenades and Medic bags. Field syrette always, duh.
I’m not sure about tournament rules, but sawz50 or Hammerhead, unless you really want to punish quick claims then AR-W. Secondary, 1011-12 or PDW-Z.
