Trachtenberg was not aware of the flintlock comic..

Possibly but if what Dan explained, it seemed like it was barely updated at all. Plus, I don’t think CJ was ever canon to the story, as I do recall the game was presented as a “What IF?” story, which usually means that its not really canon but just a story scenario to look into.

I will say that I am curious to see how this all plays out in the sequel, as Dan said he has the ideas all planned out and willing to go if given the green light. It could be just as great. It has to be very ballsy if Greyback kills Naru and takes the pistol from her. I’m so damm curious to see how it goes down cuz there is no way that it can be that easy to just hand the pistol over.

It’d be cool if more series did something like what Dragon Ball started doing in 1995 where they’d release chapters of the series Lore Bible in what was called Daizenshuu (literally means Great Complete Collection) and each Chapter would go into detail different aspects of the world with information on the timeline; events, characters, attacks, etc and would also have additional artwork including never before seen concept art or just cool little special pieces with interviews from Akira Toriyama himself.

Yea exactly that’s what i was wandering. I just hope if he does and takes on bringing greyback back lol that he doesn’t do a “reimagined” greyback because he’s my top pred and if he changes him I won’t be able to look past it. Jus give us young greyback with the classic base design and ill be fine with it
