The trapper perk is pretty much a death sentence for any FT caught in a trap or a net.
What’s the best way to maximize a trapper playstyle?
I use trapper, adrenal boost, and impenetrable
Bow and net gun
Healing kits and traps
I’m wondering if you prefer bow or plasma pistol?
I like being able to set up a trap from tree level and snipe anyone who gets caught or who comes to help a downed team mate but I see that the plasma caster could easily fill the same role.
Trapper perk doesnt affect net escape time it just applies to the bear traps.
I don’t see much value in that perk after testing. Prefer long jump adrenal and modified reserve
Really? You’d think it should apply for anything that “traps” a FT member. It should, at least.
It even says on the Net Gun description that it traps it’s victim. It should most definitely apply to that weapon as well as the Bear trap themselves.
The current build of the Trapper perk only applies to bear traps. The only thing that affects net escape times are if the FT member is moving or not.
It takes longer to escape if they try to run from you. If they are stationary it is quite quick.
Use spear and disc so after you trap it’s guaranteed hits
My Mud Blood Bersker is a trapper playstyle with adreniline, large pouch, and the trappee perk.
Combi stick and netgun.
With bear traps, audio decoys, and motion dectors.
But its all on how you play.
I play around as much as possible with my prey.
Trying to never be seen.
When they way inside buildsing.
Trap the door ways.
Throw a decoy.
Its option to either throw a combi stick at the trappes prey.
Or wait till they get out.
And thrn net them.
I personally see a win out of tormenting and trapping over killing.
Usually.
Opens them up for more mistakes to be made.
But thats just how ive been playing my tapper Predator.
Sometimes Ill use the plasma to shoot barrels to push them away from a certain area into one od my traps.
Its really all how you approach and handle your prey to get the best out of it.
