I think rap is a bit tough when it comes to impact and meaning. The words matter and it has to be setting that everyone will understand. That’s difficult to put into 3 lines.

For me in other music, vocals is just like another instrument. The song will still sound good even if the words are nonsense. What matter is the voice. With rap, the words matter more, but from some of the songs, i feel like there are a few well connected lines, but you’ll also gets words or connection that have impact but may not be part of central theme and it may sound like there is ‘weakness’ in there. Maybe that’s just the style. Maybe i don’t get it.
