Why does a small piece of tree, blocks a firing path of the plasma caster? Why do they have their own hitbox I very much want to know what is the reason behind a small piece of tree branch is able to block the firing shot, yet does not do it for any other projectile weapon. I have had times when I have a clear shot only for a piece of a fucking tree blocks my shot and make me waste energy. predators ranged attacks are all skill-based shots, no-hit scan. So having a leaf stop a potentially lethal blast suuucks.

yeah it doesnt stop the fireteam bullets.
in beta the shots went through leaves and small stuff leaving a hole in it. i dont really see that now.
Maybe they have hitbox so when u see the foliage being shot and it all falls from the tree etc.
Its a simple fix though and i expect it to be in the next patch. they just have to turn off the casters interaction with those boxes.
the bow is another that you think you have the shot and the arrow goes strange, fires somewhere else… like if you ever saw the laser do a strange thing when aiming like it goes off at a strange angle…
the arrows sometimes fire at that angle.
they also sometimes collide with objects on the left that you cant see because of the cam perspective. that needs addressing too. i dont see why we cant tap a button to change the camera sides or have an indicator {x} thats shows ur arrow will hit an object.

Caster bolt collision-detection is a HUGE problem right now. As almost certainly the Predator’s best weapon, it has a major handicap in that it is so often blocked by nonsensical hit boxes. The FT can return fire on the Predator just fine through a palm tree or random branch, yet the Predator has no option but to sit and weep as 3 consecutive plasma blasts get stopped by clipping random greenery.
I love the franchise and this type of asymmetrical, 1-vs-all multi-player game and I’m generally a very positive, patient and understanding person…but I’m really starting to lose my composure with just how many little issues make being an effective Predator-player and enjoying the experience really, crushingly difficult.

So many times it has happen man, and I got so fucking mad when I had a big group of guys huddle up only for it to be block by a small peace of bark.

It always happens too when i have the perfect shot of them all huddled in the mud. I let off one and it blows up in my face. They look around to see what the commotion is about, my god, i can still do it. I charge the next shot move further to the right this time no its blows up in my face. fuck it one more ok ya same thing. Grenades rain down on my position. Energy overload. I leap away a failure.

It very stupid like why give it a hitbox, is it cause the humans can destroy them cause if so I am sure a fucking caster could destroy it easily to make space.
