Tree branches, foliage, etc environment hitboxes

There were alot of topics about that problem, so my question is - does at least one of that topics had any official answer ?

Well I don’t think there is any official answer, but I can definitely say the trees hitboxes are bigger

I mean, cmon, if this is a shooter, why cant i hit a clearly visible target? how can i use camping tactics against pred if he stands still and clearly visible for me, but i cant shoot? for last 20 years i cant remember any shooter with such scornful attitude to core mechanic of hte game
