trouble adjusting to new mode

I know im new here, I have read over some of the post in regards of the new mode and its very clear that all of you don’t understand how this game mode is ment to be played.

I played the new mode with my buddies in a private clash game where each game we all went random to give everyone a equal chance to play with each other. But that us off topic.

When playing this mode we found that dieing means absolutely nothing in the mode. Just because you get melted does not mean its the end of the world.
We found out some super interesting things like first team capture a point gets 50 points and a quaternary of the pred mask. We also found that the points that increase are by 1 for each ft in near the obj. (So all you randoms I played with this morning this goes out to you Get on the Fucking obj) We think the pred is worth 5 points but we didn’t really test it.

This mode does not require healing gear on either the ft or pred. Gear out your player to be the most effective. Preds that run off the heal are selfish and cost you points because you want to be selfish and hold onto the pred that is not the obj.

I ran scout ft all night last night while we played and I came to terms that speed is key to victory in this game. So capture those points ppl. Players that run snipers get wrecked because I can shoot faster than it takes you to hard scope and quick scope does not work on ft like it works on the pred.

Best weapons in my opinion are Assault rifles and sub machine guns everything else does little to no damage in this game mode.

Dont be afraid of death ppl. Make sure you are on the obj dieing for the obj.

But who becomes Pred? I captured like 10 times, but the pred went to someone else without me getting asked.:|

To be fair though no one shoots at ranged preds in this mode & I only heal in prep to slay the enemy pred in .5 seconds with elder sword then just caster the hill the rest of the time. Sword’s busted, SMGs are busted, but two preds playing keep away is fun as hell. People are sleeping on this mode.

Wtf I wanted to talk to the one person who actually plays this mode and now he’s out of replies

Medkits could use a buff but maybe the improved interaction time perk is relevant here.

Side note, but do predator kills count for more? Because they should. He’s harder to kill people with than the FT which is a weird balancing issue to have to bring up. It’s technically better for all 4 players to deny pred and keep their 1s TTK smgs. Kind of backwards preds one advantage is the AOE and everything else FT does better, he’s just a weird support role.
