Which one is better for the game and does it make difference really? I mean can u spot pred better with better tv/monitor that makes a difference?
Tv or monitor?
Unless you have an oled tv with high refresh rate, an ips monitor is always better.
I think it’s easier to spot the Pred on a large tv vs tiny monitor
Not for me. I see better on a monitor
It all depends on the screen size, resolution and view distance.
The higher the screen size and resolution and the lower the view distance, the better, though I believe this game is rendered at 720P on PS4 and then upscaled to 1080P or 4K.
Have you compared the PS4(or 5, dunno what you have) on the monitor vs PC and can you tell the difference (not on performance but on a still screen) ? Like if one device looks sharper than the other on the same screen?
I have not as of yet. Considering it but there’s a little work involved and I’m lazy lol
It would be a lot easier to spot the pred on an OLED tv or monitor since the image on the screen shows 100% as intended. Even with ips monitor you have to manually calibrate for best results.
I run on the ps5 60 frames per second and in 4k Oled 50 inch 2160p HDR . It makes a fucking unreal amount of big difference. Runs way better looks way better. And I started this game on the original ps4 a year ago. So I know the level of difference all to well. Once you turn that frame cap off and have a great TV. Ohhh It’s Niice. Screw monitors. Hahaha they’re way overrated.
well I know the quality display panel for computer monitors vs tv’s are very different. They are made different because TV panels are meant to be seen from several feet away while monitor panels are made to be viewed at much closer distances. Is kinda like the difference between a a home audio system speakers and studio recording audio monitor speakers.
but I don’t own an OLED. I’ve seen the demos on the stores and they look amazing, but I can’t make a Side-by-Side comparison on BestBuy.
I have a 42 inch 1080P commercial monitor and a 42 inch 1080P TV. The difference between them is abysmal, even though they are the same resolution and same screen size.
Yes, but when it comes to image quality, it refers to how good the panel can show the digital image. That’s why content creators now use oled tvs or well calibrated ips panels.
Most people think a high contrast and vibrant image looks good, but the fact is a lot of the information is not being displayed. Color calibration is not very common for gaming, but you’ll get the best image possible with a well calibrated monitor.
