WTF is this? Shows stuff for a split second and then goes away. Nothing gets pinned in the map or mini-map.

Am I doing something wrong? Feels like another useless FT gear.

It stays on the mini map. But considering the minimap is so zoomed in now for pred and ft, feels kinda useless.

Anything it scans is permanent, unless it gets used. So if someone uses all the med supplies, that icon will disappear. It’s in the patch notes. But it doesn’t just disappear from my minimap or the main map when I press on the touchpad.

Like Fire said, it stays on the map and it even marks the Predator and AI’s. It’s a very good tool to have tbh.

Check my vid if you’re interested, it really has it’s uses.

Everything does stay in the area you scanned, it just doesn’t keep the pred marked. But it’s great as a way to flush out a hidden predator if you know one is in the area, as it shows you where he is for 2-3 seconds which is enough for the FT to prep or know which direction to watch for now.

It’s expensive tool to take of course

The icons on the mini map are to small, and if Bravo or Delta use the UAV it’s even harder to see

Their still on the mini map so it’s not bad also it’s not a distraction

I expect to be spotted, so when FT uses this, it doesn’t really alter my gameplan. They waste a lot of ammo tho …
