But never the less the Company has urged me to put more safety measures into use! So I have added more plastic shields and have also made a nice professional sign! Which says
Sorry for the inconvenience but I can only allow one person per rental inside at a time!!
Also mind you my rental counter and waiting space is no bigger than a Public restroom in a restaurant!
Here is where the Karens come in!!
Family of Karens was dropped off in a Taxi cab as most do!
Leader of Karens sees my sign on the door! And huffs! So I knew it was going to be an issue!!! She also Ripped the sign off the door mind you!
In walk the Family most huffing and puffing because well they are all larger than life! Lolz
LK: what is the meaning of this sign!

LK: well thats dumb, what if there was an old person that couldn’t stand outside and wait for the person waiting for the car!
Me: I would allow said old person to also wait inside. Because I understand hardship of the elderly!
Lk: ohhhh okay!!! (Mind you she is screaming at me)
Me: I am sorry but I do need ask for the rest of your family to wait outside. I do appreciate and apologize for the inconvenience.
She gets angry and starts spouting off excuses that everyone single person in Her family has asthma and cant stand outside on the heat. ** this was at 8 am and it was only 70 degrees outside.
She goes into her rant how im being rude and inconsiderate because they are fat and I hate fat ppl and all lol!!
She yells and screams!
Me: Ma’am if you do not calm down I will not rent you a vehicle. (I have also let the issue go that there are 7 mouth breathers in my tiny waiting area)
Lk: I will not calm down you are fat shaming us. You are a disgusting individual and I shall have your job! I need your manager name and number!
Me: Okay I will gladly give that information but I will have to ask you to leave because I am refusing you service now.
Lk: Listen here you little bitch of a man! You will rent me this car and you will do it now or I will call the police!!!
Me: Okay please call the police, Matter of fact Ill do it for you. They are here 2-3 times a week and have heard all the stories who do you think they will believe?
Lk: Okay im sorry, She asks her family to wait outside, ( btw her Husband has been outside since they got there because he understood the sign.)

Lk: what car am I getting?
Me: Just ignores her a process her rental!
Lk; excuse me?
Me: Yes? I am doing your rental is there a problem?
Lk: yes what car am I getting?
Me: I dont know yet im still processing your rental!
So now her Debit Card fails! I explained it to her that a debit card needs to pass a strict credit score check ( 700 or higher)
Me: i am sorry your debit card failed. Do you happen to have a credit card?
Lk: failed what do you mean it failed?
Me: well it failed the credit check I informed you about.
Lk: FAILED!!! (Slams her fist in the counter) WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT FAILLED!!
Me: it failed to pass the checks in the system! If you have a credit card I can use that but there will be a 200 dollar hold put on ur card.
Lk: NO I DONT HAVE A CREDIT CARD WHAT DO I LOOK LIKE A RICH PERSON!!!
Me: i am sorry if you do not have a credit card I can not rent to you today!
Lk: WHAT ABOUT MY HUSBAND CARD?
Me: Sure I can swipe he Credit card and you would still be able to drive!
Lk goes gets her husband! He fails too cause he has a debit card! She gets even more Angry and processed to all me every slur under the rainbow.
So I ask her to leave she refuses till I rent her the car! She threatens me with violence. I call the police when she refuses to leave!
She is still here arguing with the cops outside! Im sure she will get to go home and not get arrested but I just love watching Karens get treated like children by the Police!! Lol makes my day!
