Uh what?

Haven’t played in a few days so I hopped on the game to see if I could get some good matches… legit first game I played I was shredded! Completely shredded by the fire team! I died in the first few minutes of the game like how tf did I take so much damage? I was a berserker running impenetrable… even when I stood still cloaked they spotted me and just shot me down in an instant… is this the same game I was playing last week? Has an update came out? What?

You ran into a FIreteam who knows how to play the game and they are getting more and more frequent as all the noobs get better or stop playing the game. Welcome to hell.

I’m scared…

FT improved his skills While you got break. ^^

Yeah the game is massively unbalanced, especially in terms of PC playing FT’s.

Now we’re starting to see the filter out of people who are shit and already quit the game, and the saturation of the playerbase as people who know what they’re doing.

Organized Fireteams are difficult to play against. I had one Match in Backwater where I got into mind-game Engagements, picking into everyone hiding as a Group in one of the Radar Dish Rooms. The Match ended in a Stalemate where Nobody was killed, yet a LOT of Damage was done to all of us.

Even as everyone’s favorite Berserker, you can still get easily melted by either a well organized or bare bones Fireteam. As the Predator it’s always best to keep moving and repositioning to throw a Fireteam off. I’ve had much better success with hit and run tactics instead of trying to kill Players as quickly as possible.

That’s what kind of sucks about the game right now. The Predator cannot go into melee or they will get melted so they’re forced to play range and poke at the FT but then you get constantly spotted and your health gets chipped away while they continue grabbing objectives. Against a growing base of FT players who have their shit together, the Predator will spend most of the game on the back foot trying not to die.

Bad how you have to play range but ranged weapons are limited and get nerfed

albeit PC players do have access to macro’s allowing them to unload some guns entire clips far faster than the game intends that could have occured but otherwise there are guns in the game that can kill in 7seconds or less they coulda just been using those
some guns can even kill zerker in a single clip there are 4 fireteam members the math makes sense

Kinda with the spotting. I agree somewhat.

What I’ve found that works best is working with the AI. A well oriented Fireteam will remain silent and be very hard to Track at first, mudding up as much as they want. But at one point, they’ll have no choice but to shoot at AI Grunts. And the AI makes a lot of noise.

That’s when I love to engage the most. At this point, the Fireteam is focused on what’s in front of them. This is where verticality is your strongest suit along with repositioning that leads to lot’s of confusion. I’ve ran circles, while Cloaked of course, around plenty of Players who were still aiming up thinking I stayed put.

Until that point, I’ll chip away with Bow Shots and start to strategize with Boars. That way, I’ll always have an exit Option.

Eh, I find that the really good Fireteams will always have somebody watching for the Predator regardless of the A.I and you will be spotted before you get close. The A.I can be handled by one person with relative ease so you should have three other guys keeping tabs on the Predator and lighting him up at every opportunity.

A really good Fireteam is so demoralizing as you get shot at the moment you even get close and they don’t EVER stop until you leave or die.
