i’m strictly a predator player and im getting tired of the wait times it says 5 to 6 min wait times yet im waiting near twice as long to find a match. my current match was suppost to be a 5:48 wait im now at 18 mins either they need to correct the wait times or make a predator playlist only.

I agree, the predator times are so long that it gets boring.
And when you achieve one, the lobby this middle of players, no more players arrive, and they leave and you are left alone and start again.
Yesterday I decided to play predator all night to improve, in one hour I played a game of 5 minutes, I was no longer in the mood to continue practicing.
(20m waiting, 5 min game and 35 minute wait with failed tickets and refresh)
A real shame because the game is fun.
Try to fix it, you can.

If you choose to be a predator only player, you’re the reason you are waiting so long for matches… if you weren’t being so selfish an choose to be a part of the fire team every second match then it would ease up the number of people trying to play as predators…
How can you expect them to fix something that you’re the cause of…

Strictly Predator? I’m sorry but what are you thinking? The fixed the wait times that’s why it only takes me a 30 seconds to join match whether it’s fireteam or no preference. But everyone wants to be the Predator all the time and only one person per match can be so no, that problem cannot be fixed by the developers, only by the players. Try letting someone else be the Predator for a change

Everyone who chooses Predator only are the reason for long wait times. C’mon people. Use use your brains. The developers patched the wait time but how’s that supposed to fix everyone only choosing Predator.

try letting someone else be the predator for a change? the fuck … so basically play a mode that they dont want to play? lol … ive played tons of fireteam. but theirs times when i want to play pred. and i get morons saying play ft. what the mode where im not far off level 90 from playing. il pass.
Well if not then don’t complain about the wait times. I mean just look at the statistics of players playing and compare how many choose no preference and how many choose Predator. If you subtract 4 fireteam players and one Predator from each list for every match you’ll run the no preference/fireteam players hit 0 way before the Predator. But yeah no, your right, just complain and that’ll fix everything lol. And what’s the point in buying the game if your literally not gonna play the game if your not gonna play second half of it?
Maybe give accurate statistics on the current matchmaking balance? Make sure the timer actually works. Make absolutely sure the matchmaking KEEPS finding people after joining.
Yesterday 3 matches in a row as a predator. I had about 55 minute downtime waiting. So in 1,5 hours of playtime… I waited for 55 minutes. Of those 55 minutes my matchmaking rest 5 times or threw me in a lobby with 1 guy… and it didn’t even try to add others.
What this is: is broken.
Don’t blame players for the incompetence of devs. Evolve died because of this and this game will 1-2-3 walk in it’s footsteps if they don’t fix it.
Evolve (also 4vs1) was fine when it came to matchmaking. Not perfect, but way better than this game.

Yes, the developers had some patches to do, making the wait times more accurate, fixing the connection issues when it comes to waiting lobby and a more. But when just as many people are playing Predator as there are people playing the no preference/fireteam, Thats literally 3/4 of the people playing Predator who don’t have enough fireteam players to join them. So yeah, expect longer wait times people, it’s not all on the developers
they can complain about the timeouts. its a bug in the game.
Waiting longer if you wanna use predator is normal. the timeouts arent.
I’ve queued for FT’s and ended up without predator a lot 2, so this counters your statement.

There are still too many people claiming “pred only”, that’s the reason for the long waits, actually it probably explains a lot of the problems we’re having, the system cant cope with the overload of people queuing up on predator, and the ft que is a fraction of that… it could explain why we get put into lobby’s with only 2 ft and it never fills, the system could be trying to spread a small number of people in to 4 man squads to make games for a large amount of predator players… purely a hypothetical but it could explain the matchmaking issues were having which would then mean it isnt within the abilities of the dev’s to fix it would be on the selfish players…
look. who are you to say dont complain about the wait times. the matchmaking is broken. i have played the second half. i was playing it last night. why do people say such stupid dumbass shit? i was co oping with a friend last night. assumptions when you dont even know that i do and have played the ft. im almost level 90 from ft. so you know? enough said.

Use your brain dude, it’s all about the statistics. 3/4 of the people playing Predator don’t have any fireteam members to join them in the first place. And like I said, yes, the developers have to patch that, plus some. But it’s not all on them. And if you read other posts you’ll see that’s the estimation is the only thing being complained about. And if your gonna name post “Unbearable wait times for the Predator” or whatever. Then you best be prepared to be able to banter back and forth on that statement
Yes it is. It still is. That is what I’m trying to say.
If you want more fireteam players, then make sure the FT-experience is well rounded as well. That players who WANT to play with mics, can find each other. That players who like playing with each other, can add each other really easy as friends. Or stay in the same lobby. To have a friendslist, that actually works beyond what we have now.
But the hardest thing to do in this game, is to add people you’ve just met. You literally have to go out your way to add people you like, in this game.
This is still a dev issue, and these functionality are bare-bone basics that should be implemented right from the start. If it is too hard for me to find people I want to keep playing with, then I won’t play the mode where I need players to win.
If I play with a mic, I will 100% dislike randoms without mics. I will avoid playing with randoms.
This is again… a Dev issue.
Evolve’s forum is FULL of these topics. And the community predicted exactly what would happen if they didn’t add these functionalities.

Yeah but your only one person. What about everyone else that doesn’t. And obviously, there’s plenty of people that don’t roll both ways, just saying, if every one played both for a change, you mind see an effect. Also, with this whole quarantine thing going on. Internet connections gonna be spotty as it is with everyone staying home and using there internet 110% more often
