I also want to play pred. Would do it all day if I could. But I mix in some FT games, solo/duo/4. Even in private games, all guys want a match as pred :) learn to share lol

that says alot about you (in a positive way), but not everyone is you. and a matchmaking logic should be able to handle that.

Only way to ‘fix’ it, is to add bot FT.

Trust me, nobody wants that. For pred its boring and for FT frustrating.

Indeed, there is no way to fix longer queue times for predator. i fully agree with that.
But making them 1/3 of what they are now, is a possibility. fix timeouts and queues will be 1/3 (or faster) for predator and this will also impaxt FT queue in a positive way.

You don’t want Bots, you really really don’t. It might be “more” fun. But it’s a fix to patch a crack in the dam. Maybe noone is saying it loud enough, but you gotta fix the “dam” first. Remember Evolve’s bots? That was fun maybe the first 6 hours. After that… they became a joke. Cuz, they are bots.

We need live matchmaking right up until the match starts. No more 2/5 players there, 120 second wait: start match nonsense.

im also a content creator im doing a few videos on this game and i have 2 that i have in mind that its level 1 to 100 as predator an 1 to 100 as fireteam.

Most predator mains dont complain about the queu times. They complain about queu times not being accurate (saying 6m queu while you actually wait 30m), complaing about once you get a game the lobby is empty or just with 2 players orso in it. Those things a dev can fix.

It’s a reconnection bug that puts you at the end of the que. I’m quite sure of it. The order is always the same:

Matchmaking (6-7 minutes)

Placing (1-2 minutes)

Reconnecting (20 sec)

Matchmaking (6-7 minutes)

This loop will continue until you do get thrown into a match.

And in the current state, there is a 50% chance it isn’t a full lobby, so you got to re-que all over again.

Worst waittime I had? It was a little more than over an hour.

  • On a good note. With these wait times and the relatively stable windowed fullscreen mode, I can keep working on my book so every hour I wait in matchmaking, is an hour of work done.

Like a nice break, breaking spines. But honestly? This cannot happen at full release. The beta was just a stress test to see if everything worked. The first patches were the bugs they - likely - already knew about.
