But like I said, if they did that then it would have to be like 3 lives, so a player can bring in 3 preds essentially, and I’d rather not.
The game just needs to better but we know it wont.

Don’t know anything about books/comics. Only the movies and some games.
Thing is the predator in this game has to fight a team trained to take him down with Dutch level badasses. Its not that the predator is weaker, the TEAM is stronger. Obviously certain things have been tweaked for gameplay reasons (like not 1 shooting with weapons the predator or the humans, normal vision for pred, FT not being completely invisible when mudded up, etc).

The preds in the movies only lose because that’s what most ppl wanna see. But if a pred wasnt fucking around and fought seriously, humans would never win.
Unless they’re tech is way more advanced like say it takes place in the future.
So no, this game is not accurate at all.

PS. The culture, traditions that predators have, are completely valid to the discussion. Yes, they act this way for a clear reason stated in canon. If Preds would not “fuck around” would just shoot from orbit(they have ships) and kill everyone. Then again this is irrelevant.

I have one of those arguments you broth up. A good deal of FTs are more easy to kill then pigs in this game, so predators are quite OP :) Pigs are smaller and faster, you spoke them, its not that easy to kill’em.

Dude, this is not real life, its meaningless. It works in the movies man. If we start dissecting movies with real life science, we will be left with nothing (certainly no predators). So it works because the movies said so. I really don’t care who said it, its flat out wrong.
I did not say predators we play in this game are better then every predator that exist man… The predator who took down Dutch was a high level one (at least going by what I read around here). The predator in first movie also lost to Dutch and if anything, we are comparing predators here to that.

Dutch had no clue what he was dealing with, once he knew, he made a plan and it worked (yes, lady luck was on his side). In this game we know how predators work. Win some, lose some even so.
I will not be cheering for the USA, not an American. What I am is a fan of good movies, something that Predator 1 and 2 where.
What I do smell is a predator fan who actually does cheer the, em, whatever predator anthem is. Now the question would fall on your, can you remove the fan googles? The fact that I am not aa massive fan of this, actually works in my favor since I can be quite objective, well, more then you anyway…
PS. Predators are not a joke in this game, with a winrate of like 95% I find it a bit funny. For the last 2 days did not lose 1 game, yes, I don’t run into PC death squads but who cares I can’t beat some excellent players all on 1 premade. When I hit quickplay I win a lot and I have just as much fun.
You seem to forget I havent watched the movies, I’ve watched clips of the important parts, and let me tell ya, the story was written just to cater to audiences.

In the first movie, literally 87 only died to Dutch because he decided to fuck around, not cause Dutch was better.
As for the second movie, pretty much the same thing tho city hunter seemed inexperienced, so combine those 2, and well, fucked.
I’m not a big predator fan or alien fan for that matter.
I always found predators to be too simple so I just couldn’t really enjoy them.
But despite not being the biggest fan,
I can see that preds just get fucked over in this game.

It would have to be a pretty huge group to come close.

The predator died in the first movie because of his traditions decided to give Dutch a duel and Dutch managed to use a trap he set up on him, luck did play a part in it but that is it.

Preds don’t get fucked in this game, bad preds do. There is a difference.
In Predator 2 if those people who tried to bring him in would’ve just tried to kill him or if Harigan had some AP ammo(instead of that shotgun) that predator would’ve been dead with no “fucking around”. Predators seem so strong because people don’t know how to deal with them. The tech they use is not that impressive. That plasma gun does nothing more impressive then a rifle unless he is fighting some tanks and once you know how to bypass the stealth, its 1 sniper shoot and he is dead. We have devices in game that nullify stealth.
I don’t ignore anything, I’ve told you its in the culture, rules, traditions they serve to do certain things. They are no a hunt and they do have rules of engagement. They also take a form of pleasure from the hunt. They don’t just go there to nuke the place. The reason as to why they do something is completely valid here. its not them “fucking around” its them participating in a thrill ride.
Predator 2. The other predators could’ve helped the predator against Harioson or given him aa weapon to easily kill him but they did not, there are clear rules why they do things.
He back handed him and sent him flying away.
He gave dutch a chance to run away, because was too cocky, fucking around.
He had his blades out, so he could of easily stabbed him, or grab him by the neck and choke him to death.
