Again, I don’t know if it’s just a bug (gonna test in another couple matches) but it appears that the Predator can now activate leap while in Second Wind. This is good news, although I wish the patch notes would have mentioned it.
Undocumented?: Leaping in Second Wind
We need some “myth busters” to verify such claim.
I wouldn’t doubt tho.
I did activate it just now on my 2nd wind, when jumping out of the train yard warehouse.
Dunno if bug or something, haven’t tested if yo ucan do it multiple times.
It’s True!
as well as a bear trap nerf!
Yea you can leap now on second wind which is a god send. I can actually reliably survive going into second wind now without the fireteam just chasing me down.
Bug or not, it’s a necessay tool when in second wind, a much needed one may I add.
What type of nerf? Like the amount of time the trap can lock someone?
I always though people could get out too easily. I’m curious what was nerfed also.
Yep, can confirm, you can leap in Second Wind.
yes. Try it and you’ll see. 5 secs I think. unbelievable.
They want th e fireteam to stay together always.
and slaughter the pred for good.
Yep, it does indeed allow you to leap away.
No point in chasing the predator now.
It means that the Scout (who is already squishy) has a great likelihood of escaping, the Hunter is now more 50/50 depending on terrain and the Berzerker now has a chance where, before, Second Wind basically marked the end for him.
Wait, 5 seconds to get free from the trap? Could atleast add a bleeding effect or/and different timer depending if you are doing alone or with help.
Thank god, I was getting tired of those super-human FT Scouts keeping up with me.
Before the patch I could come back to kill the trapped player, now there’s no time. He gets free
I should have recorded, sorry
Sounds like that surprise update today went in a good direction with the game. No overbuffs or nerfs, good and welcome changes. I just hoped for some changes to the (at least for me) unused weapons like the elder sword, club and the disk.
But i’m trying to use the disk now instead of the combistick to get the hang of it.
