That doesn’t sound right at all. I know that’s something that was said early on about the plot, but that can’t be the first time they’ve been on earth. Even if you ignore any AvP lore its been stated many times that the species have been hunting on the planet for a very long time.

Why would they give away the ending? Maybe she defeats Yautja in first 20 minutes and there rest of the movie is about her advocating against gender norms
That would be hilarious. The fight against the extraterrestrial hunter is but a footnote in comparison to the fight against gender norms in her tribe.

It would be tho. Yeah, she’s a decorated ‘war’ hero, but if theres no social change, i bet her legend won’t even be mentioned to inspire young warriors. Like, ‘our greatest warrior is a girl’, everyone learn from her. Makes for a sheety action flick, but realistically makes sense.

I agree as well. I’ve never understood the hate for that movie. At least they didn’t go for the alternate ending. As far as I care about the terminator franchise, Salvation was an adequate ending.
